Chapter 40

Jungkook's POV

"She shouldn't be alone" Namjoon said.

"I'll go.. Don't worry" I said and rushed out of the door after Sophia.

Everything changed in a single moment. I didn't knew what made Jimin Hyung rush out of the practice room abruptly. I knew he was eager to meet Sophia but that couldn't be the reason of his sudden run. The tensed look on his face said something else.

"Stop it Sophia!"

I stopped in my tracks. At a distant i could see Eun Bi holding Sophia by her arm. Sophia's face was full of confusion.

"What's wrong?" Sophia said. "Let go Eun Bi you're hurting me" Sophia used her other hand to rescue herself but Eun Bi wasn't letting her go.

"Eun Bi!" I shouted.

I knew I was standing in a hospital and I wasn't allowed to shout and talk loudly but I couldn't stay quiet either.

Both of their eyes darted towards me. I raced towards them. Anger towered within me. Is Eun Bi out of her mind!

"Let go of her!" I said trying to keep my voice low. I grabbed Eun Bi's hand and pushed it away making her stagger back a little in the process.

Tears welled up in her eyes and I felt bad for treating her that way but what she was doing wasn't right either.

"What was that all about!?" I asked trying not to sound harsh. She looked up at me and then turned her gaze towards Sophia.

"It's all because of her" she glared at Sophia.

I looked at her in disbelief. She was accusing Sophia for Hyung's accident. Was she even thinking straight?

"Are you out of your mind?" I squinted at her.

She just glared at Sophia. I turned towards Sophia. She was looking at her in confusion.

"Sophia let's go." I held her hand and turned towards the door to Jimin Hyung's room but she didn't move.

"No..No.. Wait" she said. "What do you mean.. It's all because of me?" She asked. Her voice shuddered.

"Yes" Eun Bi replied.

"Sophia let's go" I said and turned her around to face me. "Don't listen to her"

I didn't knew why Eun Bi was acting like that and saying stuffs that didn't even made sense.

"If it weren't you Opp..."

"Eun Bi enough!" I glared at her and looked back at Sophia. Eun Bi had her attention once again.

Why is she doing this?

"No let her complete it" Sophia said freeing her hands from my weak grip. She turned towards Eun Bi.

"Don't you get it?" Eun Bi squinted. "He was on his way to meet you when all of this happened"

"If you were not there this would have never happened!" She exclaimed, "You've always got him into trouble. The day you entered his life, you ruined it completely"

Her words were like fuel to my anger.

"That's Enough" I said and pulled Sophia to face me. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. She looked stunned.

"Sophia.. Listen to me" I said cupping her face with my hands. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

"Sophia.. It's not your fault.. It...it didn't happen because of you.. What she is telling is not the truth.." I trailed. She just stared at me blankly yet more tears escaped her eyes. She was not even blinking. I was not even sure if she was listening to me.

"I'm going to meet Oppa" I heard Eun Bi say. I was trying my best to control my anger but failed.

I turned my face towards her glaring at her. "No.. You're not.." I said "Eun Bi before I do something that I shouldn't please.. Leave"

"Jungk..."

"I said JUST LEAVE RIGHT NOW!" I shouted.

I felt Sophia flinch at my words and I looked at her. I didn't wanted to scare her. I pulled her into a hug and looked back at Eun Bi. She was crying.

"Leave!" I said once again but in a more calm voice. She once glanced at Sophia and then me and then walked away.

I caressed Sophia's head as she broke into tears.

"It's not your fault" I said. I pulled back and took her towards the door.

"Stop crying" I said, "do you want Hyung to see you crying?" I said trying to lighten her mood.

I no longer felt guilty for being rude and harsh towards Eun Bi. She deserved it.

"Stop crying okay?"

She looked at me and nodded. Wiping off her tears she turned towards the door. I opened it and let her enter in alone. She looked at me once before entering the room and I nodded with a smile.

The door closed behind as she stepped in.

As if on cue Jimin's head turned slightly toward Sophia and I saw his face lighten.

He knew it was her.
