Chapter 23

Sophia's POV

I walked out of my class as soon as it ended. Fall breaks doesn't last long you see.

"Hey Sophia" I turned around to find Ken beaming at me. He was my lab partner. He was funny and always kept smiling. And of course a really helpful friend and if I may mention cute too.

"Hey" I gave him a smile as he jogged towards me. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing great as you can see" He said grinning. And it reminded me of Taehyung making me smile.

"What about you?"

"Never been better" I said with a shrug.

"Umm..." He said and licked his lips. "Do you wanna grab a cup of coffee before going home?" He asked.

I frowned at him with a confused smile, he looked nervous. I thought for sometime, I didn't wanted to refuse him. But It was time for me to go home and I knew Jimin would be waiting for me. Moreover I didn't knew if Jimin would like it or not but maybe he wouldn't mind if I went for once and Ken was just a friend.

I smiled at him, "Sure!"

"Great!" His face lightened up and we made our way to the parking.

We talked and laughed as we walked towards the parking and then to his car. My phone buzzed and I looked at it. A message from Jimin. I smiled and opened it and I immediately stopped in my tracks. My eyes were wide in shock.

Jimin: where are you going with that red T-shirt guy?

I looked at Ken who had stopped a step ahead of me. He turned to face me.

"Hey. everything fine?" Ken frowned.

I looked around, my eyes searching for Jimin. But he wasn't there.

"Yeah I'm fine" I smiled still looking around.

My phone buzzed again.

Jimin: Look behind you.

I turned around and spotted his car parked across the parking area. I felt a tinge of happiness born within me and a smile formed on my lips. I looked back at Ken. I felt bad for him but I was definitely not going with him. People might call me a betrayer but I only had a few days to spent with Jimin before he would leave for Korea and I was in no mood of wasting a single moment.

"Ken.. Umm.. I gotta go. I'm sorry something came up" I said. He looked at me confused.

"Okay no problem. Everything alright right?" He said.

"Yeah everything is good. See you later, bye" I said with a smile and rushed towards Jimin's car but slowed down as he opened the door and got out.

He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with a light blue denim jacket over it and a pair of black jeans and a cap on his head but his mask was off. I looked at him startled.

No doubt he looked hot but someone might recognize him.

I looked back at Ken to check if he was still there but he was already gone. I looked back at Jimin.

'Where is your mask?' I mouthed him as I motioned my hands forming a mask on my mouth. He just shrugged giving a smile and started walking towards me. I looked around me, there weren't many people around so I just gave him a smile as I shook my head in disbelief.

He is just so cute.

As soon as he reached me he placed his hand around my waist pulling me closer to him and I looked at him in surprise. I wondered if he was drunk or something cause first of all he wasn't wearing his mask showing off his face to everyone and now he was holding me so close in public and it was still afternoon. I liked it but I was worried about him too.
