I think I know how this started.
"Well, uh, Jack Frost and Elsa both have ice powers so let's make them a couple!"
That is 100% Crap.
I HATE all the wasted potential for good Frozen fanfics. I surely want to read about Frozen, not Jack Frost and Elsa falling in love and all that crap.
Now I must confess, I don't know a lot about Jack Frost so if I say anything wrong about him please correct me.
But I do know a butt load about Elsa, and she is waaaaay too good for any man, especially Jack.
For one, Jack is a myth. From what I know, he creates snow. But he is thousands of years old. So.... I don't get it.
You might argue that Elsa is is not real either, but she is from an actual place in earth, Arendelle. Arendelle is based of the Norwegian town of Arendal. So it has been confirmed that Arendelle is in fact a real location. Plus Frozen takes place in the medieval times while Rise of the Guardians took place hundreds of years later. So how does that work? Did Jack Frost find a time machine and magically landed in Arendelle? It's all just way too farfetched to be true.
Now we will talk about actual crossovers on the actual movie making process. The chance of Disney making a crossover with Rise of the Guardians
is, in my opinion, a 2% chance. Frozen, being a Disney production, wouldn't crossover with a DreamWorks production. That would be too difficult and controversial. The two animation studios have many different ways of art style. Disney's 3D animating style is very realistic, even though the actual concepts may be a bit unrealistic (Tangled, Frozen, Monster's University, etc.) while DreamWorks animation seems a bit more cartoony, like the Madagascar movies. Not to mention Disney is waaaaaay more successful than DreamWorks.
Also, JACK FROST IS DEAD!!!! HE IS A SPIRIT! SPIRITS CANNOT MARRY LIVING PEOPLE!!!!! Says so in Hercules right? WHICH IS A DISNEY MOVIE. Unless Elsa is a crazy and stupid Jack Frost fangirl (0% chance) I highly doubt she would fall for a dead person.
Speaking of Elsa, let's get into MY personal thoughts instead of facts and technicalities.
Elsa is a strong, independent woman, and is more than capable of living on her own. Plus she isn't the most social, as Hans points out late in the movie, so the only humans she'll ever really get close to is probably going to be Anna, her sister, and Kristoff, Anna's APPROVED love interest.
And here is the biggest reason why Jelsa shouldn't exist.
True love is friendship.
Elsa doesn't need a man to love. She is not the princess stereotype most people might want her to be. She already has plenty. Anna. All she ever wanted was to protect her, and they are the best of friends now.
And to all the girls out there waiting for a Prince Charming,
You don't need a prince to save you.
