Hey, guys! So if the two chapters didn't satisfy you, I really hope this chapter will! No characters belong to me, except Galaxy, my OC. Happy reading!

"You sure this plan's going to work?" Hiccup asked. It was already the next day in Hogwarts.

"I'm one hundred percent sure," Jack said. "See? Look, she's perfectly unaware of her surroundings, including us." he gestured to a crouched figure sitting on a bench, alone, reading a book.

"Well then, buddy, break a leg," Hiccup patted his back, then stopped mid-pat. "Just not literally, okay?"

"Don't be too rough and mean to her," Rapunzel warned. "I don't approve of this, but knowing you, Jack, this just has to be done."

Jack groaned. Recently, Rapunzel had started hanging out with Galaxy along with Elsa and Anna, and she talked nothing but good things about her. Jack looked at Merida, seeing if she wanted to say anything.

"Hm? Oh!" Merida said, breaking out of her thoughts. "Well, all I have to say is...I'll see you at the cemetery in a few hours!" she laughed.

Jack rolled his eyes. "Well, thanks for the support."

He went a few feet away from where his friends were standing and he eyed his target. He looked over his shoulder to see if the others were watching. They gave an uneasy thumbs-up. Grinning to himself, he slowly and quietly made a snowball in his hands. He put his arm as far back as possible, wanting the biggest impact. Then, with years of throwing snowballs, he watched it go at the perfect speed and direction.

Let's see how she reacts to this! he thought.

But just as the snowball was about to hit her shoulder, it stopped but it was still in midair!

What? Jack thought. "Oh for crying out-"

Before he could react, Galaxy whirled around and shot him with a blast of pure magic. Jack tried to freeze the the magical energies, but Galaxy deflected it easily. She summoned a strong gust of wind to knock Jack down. She then made her way to him and picked him up by the collar of his robes.

"I told you if you have a problem with someone, you should start acting more an adult and less like a child. Getting your revenge on somebody isn't going to help anything at all," she hissed. She then summoned up a gust of wind to throw him in the air and he landed on the ground with a loud thump, nothing broken but his pride. His friends rushed to him, saying things all at once.

"Are you okay?"

"Is anything broken?"

"Did you get her?"

Jack sat up, wincing at his sore muscles. "I'm fine and noooo, I didn't get her."

"Ouch," Hiccup said. "Then I guess this means no celebratory cake?"

 ..~..

"And you just shoot it, like this?" Jack asked Merida, her bow in his hand. The previous day hadn't gone so well, what with Galaxy embarrassing him again. He hoped he could clear his mind and his anger by going out to shoot some targets with Merida. It was snowing, a perfect time for him to go out.

"Yep. Now you stand straight. Um, not too straight. There you go," Merida instructed.

Jack was able to shoot an arrow at the target.

"Hey, thanks, Merida, for letting me tag along with you," Jack said, "I know you usually want to be alone when you practice your archery."

"It's okay," Merida said. "I know when someone needs to clear up whatever's in their mind. Besides, everyone needs a little bit of archery in their lives, hm?"

Jack grinned. "Hey, I bet that I can make a bullseye in my next shot."

"How much are you bettin'?" Merida grinned back.

"Oh. Nothing much. Just a whole month for the other to do the winner's homework," Jack said.

"You're on," Merida said.

Jack got his bow and arrow ready. He took a deep breath and eyed the target carefully. Then, with a steady hand, he let go of the arrow, making it whizz to the desired spot.

"Noo!" Merida shouted, seeing that he had shot a bullseye.

"I believe you're going to have to do my History essay on how King Triton came to rule his kingdom," Jack laughed.

"Give me that," Merida exclaimed, grabbing her weapon back and focusing on shooting a target. As she was about to let go of her and make the arrow reach its destination, Jack lunged for it and they were fighting over it.

"Stop it, Frost!" Merida shouted, her finger still had the bow drawn. If she had released it, it would have hit one of them.

"I still want to shoot some targets!" Jack exclaimed.

"Too bad!" she said. "You already won and- stop pulling it, Frost! You're going to break it!"

"Fine, fine." Jack backed away, his hands showing he surrendered.

"Good," Merida sighed. "I thought I was going t-" She was interrupted when Jack lunged for the bow and arrow again. She gasped and she released the arrow, sending it upward. They heard a big thunk as it hit something. Then, both the mysterious thing and arrow fell to the ground.

"What did it hit?" Merida gasped, both of them running toward the wounded creature. What they saw both awed and frightened them all at once. It was a phoenix.

"No," Jack breathed as he raced the rest of the distance towards the phoenix. The creature was bleeding badly. The arrow had hit its chest, a few inches from its heart.

"Jack! You have to use a spell to carry it! We have to bring it back to get it treated!" Merida shouted, tears running down her face. "Oh gosh! Oh gosh! This is bad!"

"Merida! Stop it!" Jack shouted at her. "You're not helping with all of that talk!"

"I'm sorry," Merida whispered, seeming to have calmed considerably down. "This whole situation just got really bad really quickly."

Jack nodded. "I know. Just- try to be calm and help me with the phoenix."

Merida nodded, coming closer to the wounded creature.

Jack took out his wand and pointed it at the phoenix. "Locomotor ph- what?"

The phoenix was getting blurry, as if it was disappearing, like it was all just an illusion. Jack wished it was all an illusion and just their imagination getting the best of them from being outside in the cold for too long.

"What? No!" Jack said, his heart beating wildly in his chest, cradling the disappearing phoenix. As the body of the phoenix was disappearing, a bright light shone, blinding the both of them. They both screamed until the light mysteriously disappeared as it had first came. Jack looked back down to see if the phoenix was alright, and almost had a heart attack. For the phoenix wasn't there anymore. In its place was Galaxy, the same arrow they had shot, in her chest.

AN: Well, I hope that was certainly enough action and emotions for you to make up for the previous two chapters. Sorry for the cliffhanger! I hope you enjoyed reading it and see you in the next chapter!
