Hey, guys! I hope you enjoy reading this chapter and happy reading!
"Mother! Father!" Galaxy ran towards her parents' open arms. She missed their warmth and their all too familiar scent. "I've missed you so much," she whispered.
"We've missed you too," her mother and father said, crying happily.
"I never want to leave your side. Ever," Galaxy said, looking up at her parents' faces. Her parents cast each other worried looks.
"Honey," her father said. "Are you sure you want to stay with us? At such a young age?"
"You really want your life to end the way like it did?" her mother said.
Galaxy looked from one parent to the next. "Are you trying to get rid of me?"
"No, no!" her parents said at the same time.
"It's just that, you've got your whole life ahead of you. We want you to grab every opportunity life throws at you," her father smiled.
"Yes, Galaxy, dear, we've already lived our life," her mother murmured, stroking her daughter's hair. "We want you to live yours."
"But, how can I? I- died!" Galaxy sputtered out.
Her mother smiled at her. "Life has a strange way with handling things sometimes."
"If I go back, will I ever see you again?" Galaxy asked, looking from one parent to the other.
"We're always with you, even if you can't see us," her father said, hugging his daughter. He whispered to her, "Don't live your life in fear like we did, my dear Galaxy. Instead, spend it with your most precious loved ones while you still can."
A bright light was covering them now.
"Mother, Father?" Galaxy said. "I can't see you!"
"Be whoever you want to be, Galaxy!" her father's voice rang out. "No matter what anyone else tells you!"
"We love you, our sweet girl!" her mother's voice said. "Don't you ever forget that!"
And then there was darkness.
..~..
Galaxy gasped for air, coughing up some dried blood in the process.
"Galaxy!" a familiar voice said. She could feel someone hugging her.
"We thought you were gone forever!" another voice piped up.
"Well, it's going to take a lot more than this to get rid of me," Galaxy chuckled. She looked from one face to the other. "Thank you," Galaxy said. "For never giving up on me."
"How could we give up on someone as amazing as you?" Anna said, giving Galaxy a bear hug.
Galaxy laughed. "Thanks, Anna." She felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Jack grinning at her.
"Gave us quite a scare there, huh, Galaxy?"
"I thought you were used to that by now," Galaxy raised a brow. The group laughed, overjoyed at the miraculous return of their friend. What began as a depressing day, turned out to be a joyous one.
..~..
The next month and a half was a busy one. Students and teachers were reconstructing the areas where it had been demolished. The students were busy, all of them hustling and bustling everywhere, getting supplies to help reconstruct Hogwarts. Not to mention the students still needed to study for their major tests.
"Phew!" Hiccup said, putting another brick where it belonged. "Are we almost done, or what?"
"Or what," Merida sighed. "You've only put together ten bricks, you know."
Hiccup grinned sheepishly. "It is heavy."
Anna laughed. "Here, let me help you." She carried the bag of bricks with ease.
"I still can't get used to that," Hiccup shook his head.
"Well, you better, if you still wanna hang out with us," Anna teased.
"Remind me again why we can't just use our magic to fix these buildings?" Galaxy said, wiping sweat off her brow.
"The professors say that it can cause the buildings to be unstable if there are different kinds of magic being used," Elsa said. "But I agree with you. This is torture."
"They better give us some extra credit or something," Flynn grumbled, hoisting a brick to another part of the wall.
"Maybe for us," Rapunzel said. "All you've done this morning is whine and complain."
"Yeah, I thought you were Mr. Tough," Kristoff said.
"Well, there are limits to how much Mr. Tough can take," Flynn muttered. They all laughed.
"On the bright side," Elsa said. "We don't have as many classes as before, since we're doing this."
"I bet Frosty and Mr. Tough here are happy about that," Anna grinned, ruffling Jack and Flynn's head.
"Hey, watch it!" Jack and Flynn said together. The others laughed. Just then, a professor came to see them.
"Hello, children," Ms. Flora said. The group said their greetings before she continuied. "Good news! You dears won't have to be going through this misery anymore."
"What do you mean?" Elsa asked.
"What I'm saying is that we were finally able to contact a construction team that specializes in fixing magical buildings. They live not too far away and they will be doing the rest of the rebuilding," Ms. Flora said, smiling. "Unless, you want to continue your work?"
"No!" the group said in unison. "We're fine with the construction team finishing up this."
"I thought so," Ms. Flora chuckled. "You can relax, my dears, for the rest of the day. I've already told some of the other students and am on my way to tell more."
"Thanks, Ms. Flora!" Jack said. "You don't know how much torture you've just brought us out of."
Ms. Flora laughed. "Oh, I can only imagine."
The group cheered when Ms. Flora left.
"Yes!" Jack said, throwing down a brick. "None of this work anymore!"
"You do know that we're going to have classes again soon, right?" Merida said.
"Better than being out in the hot, muggy day for who knows how long!" Jack grinned.
"Come on, let's go get our lunch and eat in the courtyard," Hiccup said, already packing up his things.
"I'm so hungry, I can eat a reindeer!" Flynn shouted.
Kristoff looked at him in dismay. "Are you implying that you want to eat Sven?"
"What? What I meant was- that- I'm so hungry that- horse- not Sven- I mean that I wouldn't eat a reindeer- I-I mean, I'm so hungry that I could eat a horse!" Flynn corrected himself, not wanting a reign of punches coming from Kristoff. "Yeah, a horse. That's what I meant."
"Mhm," Kristoff said, his expression still hard, yet there was a twinkle in his eye. The group laughed, walking together to the courtyard for a whole day of relaxation.
