You arrived at the airport and sat down waiting for your flight. You thought you would text a few people before you got on the plane letting them know you will contact them letting them know you've had a safe journey when you were settled in the hotel. Matt wasn't one of the people you would be contacting, although you were petrified he would walk through those doors at any minute and stop you getting on the flight.
Finally, after what felt like forever your flight was finally called. As you took yourself through to the gateway you took a quick look back to see if Matt was lurking. A feeling of relief ran through you when you saw no sign of him, but of course you knew the only way you'd completely be at ease is when that plane leaves the runway.
The flight crew finally shut the doors and within minutes the plane was leaving the runway. As you looked out the window you smiled and closed your eyes and got yourself in a comfortable position so your legs wouldn't hurt.
In time you fell asleep only to be woken by a hand on your shoulder, all you could assume is that it was Matt. You woke up in shock and a bit of relief. It was the flight crew telling you we had landed in Calfornia. You pleasantly looked and said thank you. Although the flight crew looked at you weird for how sudden and in shock you were when they woke you up. All you could think about is that they were talking about you or they knew something. Which of course they weren't it was just your state of mind.
As you got off the plane you were waiting for your luggage to come through. It felt like ages you were waiting. You saw everyone else's bags come through but yours. Typical you thought to yourself you made a joke in your head that yours had either been left behind or falling off the belt as it was going through. In time your luggage finally arrived. As you started to walk off too the exit signs you couldn't wait to see what awaited you. As you stepped out the airport you felt the hot Californian sun beaming down on your face. Bliss, you thought to yourself. You don't get sun like that in England.
As you were walking too the cab bay you saw Summer Thompson wrote on a piece of paper and thought to yourself thats either a really weird conisdence or that is for me. As you walked up to the man holding the paper you were debating wether to just ask. So you did and by your surprise it was for you. Oh my gosh you thought to yourself as the man took your luggage I get my own chauffeur! Amazing.
You arrived at your hotel it was called Bardessono Hotel & Spa. As you approached the hotel you thought surely they have got it wrong. Your jaw dropped in amazement. This hotel was beautiful and way beyond your expectations. You couldn't quite believe you would be staying here. Thanking the driver you walked into the hotel to be greeted by very friendly staff. They ushered you too your room where you looked around in complete amazement. You still couldn't believe you were there and had this room all to yourself.
As you were unpacking you realized how tired you were and that you should probably get an early night considering you are meeting Of Mice and Men tomorrow. With that you text people letting them know you had a safe journey and you finished unpacking. Once everything was done you got settled into bed whilst watching some american cheesy sitcom and called it a night.
