Redemption

Chapter 14

Jing Yi's POV
"W-why... are you here?" I asked while backing away slowly. "U-umm... Jing Yi our parents are here...?" He said. "I don't want you to be here though! I don't mind seeing your parents but you?! NO! I hate you!" I yelled as I'm trying to hold my tears back.

He didn't say anything standing there having his head down, I want to break this silence and get this dinner over and done with. I sighed and said, "Can you at least take me to where the table is? And after tonight... I'm not gonna talk to you anymore."

"Fine, follow me." He said while holding my hand. As soon we arrived my parents and Mr and Mrs.Wang looked at us in shock. I think it's just that the fact we are holding hands so thats why... We sat down, I tried to escape the hand holding thing but he just doesn't want to let go.

And he is holding my hand tighter... Why is he so stupid and dumb! So now he wants me back?! Why?! I really don't want to... I don't want to let go either... but I have to! Because I don't want to get hurt by the same person! I hate him! I hate him! I HATE HIM!!! And I need to stay strong!

"Mum... have you ordered something? I'm hungry..." I said as I pouted, which... I am hungry... because I haven't eaten anything yet! "Yes, yes my princess." Mum said as she patted on my head, I smiled at her and asked her another question. "So... how did you and dad met Mr.Wang and Mrs.Wang?"

"Oh, we decided to come back and check on you, since we haven't checked on you for a while and then when we got off the plane and went shopping then we bumped in to them." Mum said, "When she said shopping means she went ham on buying stuff." Dad said, I simply just giggled then the stuff that mum ordered has been served.

The good thing is... that she ordered food that I love which are Chinese food. But the downside is not with the food, is with the person I'm sitting next to. Which I'm trying to eat with two hands (left hand holding on to the side of the bowl and right hand side uses the chopstick.)

He just wouldn't let go off my hand! Which I'm really hungry and I really Really REALLY want to eat all of these food. Okay... just talk to him... and... then eat! "Erm... can you please let go off my hand? I'd really appreciate that." I whispered to him. Then he just let go my hand...

Hmm... then what is the point of holding my hand tighter? I mean... I know that even he just want to hold on me tighter which will make me hate him even more. Because that's how I am now... which I really can't change my real personality so then... I just simply have to act... just act for a while...

So then after 1 or 2 years we don't see each other anymore then I don't have to act. After eating few stuff on the table I realised that Mr and Mrs Wang are staring at me this entire time, the fact that they are looking at me oddly... as their... daughter...? Or... Oh, no they don't even... Oh my irene! Are they thinking about that me and this... baster should date?! Never! Please don't tell me that's their plan...

"Hey, honey. Don't you think them two would make a cute couple?" Mrs Wang said as shes trying to control her fangirl. "Yup." Mr Wang agreed. "We should've made them married at the first place when they met!" Mum said. "Wait, WHAT?!" I screamed.

"You two are so cute together!" Mrs Wang exclaimed. "I think we should make them live together!" "Wait! Why?!" I yelled and they don't even give a care about me! And just keep on babbling about it. "If they get along, we should totally live together!" "But they need to have personal space to do their thing."

"Yea... but still... and I can't wait to be grandmother!" "Same, I think we should make them married right now, since they are made for each other." OH MY GOD!!! HELP ME! I SHOULD'VE STAYED AT HOME AND WATCHED TV  OR WATCH NETFILX AND CHILL INSTEAD OR OF COMING TO THE DINNER!!!

AHHHH!!! HELP ME!!! THIS WORLD IS CRAZY! AND ISN'T THIS MEANT TO BE DINNER?! INSTEAD OF BEING MATCHMAKERS TALK?! I THOUGHT THIS WORLD DOESN'T NEED MATCHMAKERS ANYMORE! WHYYYY!!! AND OUT OF EVERYONE WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE STUPID JUN KAI?!

I got out off my seat and starting to head towards the door, "Ugh... this is great... I hate this! Why, why! WHY?!" I complained to myself. "Because we are meant to be together." Jun Kai said. I turned around and yelled, "NO! NEVER! I AM NEVER GONNA FALL FOR IT ANYMORE!"

"Why are you acting like my ex?" He asked calmly. "I wanna act what ever I like! And I'm NOT acting as your ex okay?!" I yelled back and looking at him furiously. "Oh? So... your acting like my wife now?" He asked with this cheesy smile on his face. It gave me those goosebumps.

"I'm done. That's it. I'm going home! I ain't staying here any longer!" I yelled as I'm reaching to the door handle. "You don't want your parents to be disappointed in you, do you?" He said, I froze in one spot and turned around and said, "What's the plan." I asked.

"The plan is act natural." "What...?" "Act natural... act like your normal self." "Erm... I am already myself, what are you on about?" "So... you always eat that much?" "HEY! Rude!" I said as I pouted and then he just laughed at my reaction. "So... let's go back since we had the plan." He said.

"Okay...?" I said while questioning myself or... to what he said. I don't even know if this plan works... I don't think it will because I literal don't think it would work and plus I am already myself... what does he mean? So confusing!!! And hopefully nothing messed up would happen.

He turned around and stopped and say, "If plan A doesn't work, then we will do plan B." "Wait... what is plan B then?" I asked. "Plan B is just agree on everything," He said. "Why can't we just immerge plan A and B together?" I asked. "Yea, we could do that if you want." He said as he winked at me.

"Ugh... let's just go in already..." I said while complained about it inside my heart.
