Chapter 22

*Later that night*
Jing Yi's POV
Why does mum need me at her hotel room? What is it that she wanna discuss with me? Does she wanna force marry me to Jun Kai?! Or even live with him?! *shakes head* Don't think that's gonna happen... ehh... properly will... who knows what my mum wants from me... just... no more telling me should get with him or what ever...

I knocked on the door and mum came and opened it. "Come on in." She said, I just hope nothing weird shes gonna talk to me about... I sat down next to mum on the bed, she turned to me and asked, "So... is there something you didn't tell me about whats happening between you and Xiao Kai?"

"Huh? W-what do you mean?" I asked mum while acting all innocent. "I know there's something that happened between you two..." Mum said putting an arm around me, pulling me towards her, I rested my head on her shoulder and said, "Yeah... there is... I feel like it's a really childish argument or fight now that I think about it."

"Come on, I know you won't be mad for your child hood friend forever right? If you did... you basically lost your best friend." Mum said. "I know... I really have no clue how I am suppose to forgive him... or I'm just for the chance... to come... or something..." I said as I lowered my head.

"It's okay, my princess, everything is gonna go back to normal, if you just accept him again." Said mum while putting a hand on my shoulder. "I'll be heading back to... that room... just hopefully nothing weird is gonna happen..." I said as I stood up and about to head out. "Good night mum," I said as I turned my head around and smiled at her.

After arriving at the room, I don't even feel like going in... I'm scared... I don't... know... I got the card out and unlocked the door, I walked in and saw the lights were off except the bathrooms light is on. I quietly walked to the bed and hoping not to bump in to anything.

Then suddenly the door opened, I turned around and saw Jun Kai. "Erm... Hi..." I said nervously. "Ehhh... I'm gonna go on bed now... and sleep..." He didn't say anything. "A-are you okay?" I asked, he walked towards me and hugged me. "So... you forgive me?" He asked.

"E-erm... uhhh... X-Xiao Kai... I-I don't know...?" I replied. I can tell that his hair is still wet because the water that's dripping from his hair... "...So... you still can't forgive me...?" He asked, "N-NO! I can! It's just... I don't know when..." I said while hugging him back un-noticeably.

"So your gonna wait? Or a time that you can forgive me?" He asks. "Y-yea... plus I still need to process the fact that your Xiao Kai..." I said while hugging him tighter, he then patted me on the back and making me to stay calm... and it's also making me sleepy.

I yawned quietly and started to dozing off to sleep.

Jun Kai's POV
I put Jing Yi down on to the bed and put the blanket over her, I got myself in bed and turned on side ways, looking at her while shes sleeping. I know I'm being creepy right now but... I... I guess I'll just have to wait for her right? Wait until she will forgive me right...?

I mean... she did... but I think she meant we are suppose to start again... to know each other again. I leaned closer to her and left a kiss on her cheek and went back to sleep.

Jing Yi's POV
I woke up... and... today is the day... that I need to process the fact... I looked beside me and Jun Kai is fast asleep... I generally stroke his face. Just like when we were little... hehe, he didn't really change a bit when his a sleep right? Or I think too much? Or am I being creepy?

I hope I'm not being creepy... Suddenly a phone rang I looked over Jun Kai and saw his phone's screen has lightened up. I got up and went ahead and pick the phone up. "大哥! When are you gonna come back? The manger has got us the tickets, and the plane is tomorrow." Wang Yuan said.

"Uhhh... what...?" I asked, "JUN KAI! DON'T TURN YOUR VOICE IN TO A GIRL! SERIOUSLY! WE HAVE TO GO OUT AND RECORD SOMETHING SOON! AND YOU KNOW IT IS IMPORTANT!" Wang Yuan yelled through the phone. "But... I'm not Jun Kai... and what are you talking about with the job thingy?" I asked.

"Oh... wait... shoot! Ugh... sorry Jing Yi it's just I was in a rush and I wasn't meant to yell at you either." Said Wang Yuan. "It's okay, no worries! But what do you mean by job and... something?" I asked. "Oh... its just that we have to go out and go work tomorrow... and Jun Kai will be back next week! So don't worry about him being away okay?" Wang Yuan said.

"W-what?! I'm not w-worried if he is away or not!" I screamed at the phone. "Oh well... I guess I'll see you later though? By the way remember tell him" Wang Yuan said as he hang up the phone. Erm... going out to work...? So does it mean I don't see him tomorrow? I... I think I might miss him...
