A/N: Oh my gosh it's been so long since I've updated this and I sincerely apologize. I've been meaning to but writers block ;.; Don't hate me, I still love you all :) Any who, on with the story!

We landed in Italy this morning and the entire day has been preparing for this stupid ball that's in about thirty minutes. All day I've been tasting food, trying on dresses, getting a corset fitted, helping with decorations, and worst of all: learning how to "properly" dance.

It's not that I hate parties or anything, it really isn't. It's just that, being forced to be someone that I'm not is terrible and horrifying. That's what's been happening to me for about a year now; it's been happening to Drake an Blaise since they were little. Now that thought is truly horrifying.

Well, right now Squeaky is squeezing me into a corset that she thinks has to be tighter than wet fur on a cat. I'm pretty sure I won't be eating anything tonight, I might burst out of this thing. Squeaky helped me into my dress, which is pretty ugly if you ask me. It's blue which is a great color as it matches my hair, but the dress drags along the floor, has multiple ruffles, and light green accents. I look like a walking lake.

Squeaky helped me into a pair of blue kitten heels which we a size too small and extremely uncomfortable. She then put my hair up, with multiple pins, into a bun that looked disgraceful on me. I absolutely hated the way I looked.

"Knock knock," Blaise said as he knocked on my door and opened it.

"Blaise! Finally I get to see you," I said walking over and giving him a hug.

"Indeed you do, I am also your escort for the night," he said bowing and holding out his arm.

"Geez, I thought mum were joking when she was saying they'd look for 'ideal' couples tonight." I said with a sigh.

"Sadly yes, they are. We can't really do anything about it but hey, let's have some fun at least." Blaise said and I took his arm.

Allow me to explain, since they want to keep the pureblood line going, they basically arrange marriages for us. Sadly everyone knows what I am which means they do know that I will "create" a half-breed. However, my father does want me to suffer which is one reason why they're doing this. The other reason is because the child "could be of use" just as I can. It's creepy as hell when they talk like that and it scares me a bit.

We got to the bottom of the staircase where the oh so glorious ball was being held and everyone stopped and looked at us.

"Ah, Miss Malfoy! It's simply a pleasure to meet you. I'm Laufeia Zabini, Blaise's mother," a rather tall, tan woman with black hair said walking up to me and shaking my hand.

"Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Zabini, and please, call me Samantha." I said shaking her hand back and suppressing a cringe at the mention of "Miss Malfoy."

"The pleasure is all mine, and this is my husband Franklin Zabini." Mrs. Zabini said "happily." Something tells me that she's not exactly elated about her marriage.....

"Ah Miss Nightshade, I've heard so much about you from Blaise. He really admirers you, calls you the smartest girl he's ever had the ability to be friends with." Mr. Zabini said taking my hand and kissing it. There was something entirely different about the two of them, Mr. Zabini called me by the name I like to be called by but Mrs. Zabini doesn't. It's probably just me being insane but is this what Blaise was talking about? The little things that just make you know that she will intentionally tear you down?

Nah, I'm just going nuts.

"Frank? Franklin Zabini?" mum asked walking over with a light smile on her face.

"Narcissa, Merlin it's been years hasn't it? How have you been?" Mr. Zabini asked and they went into a conversation leaving Mrs. Zabini to stalk off with father. I wonder why they did that....

"Well, wanna dance?" Blaise asked awkwardly as we turned away from our parents' conversation.

"Yeah, sure; I mean uh, of course. I'd be delighted," I said with a small curtsy when I noticed father was watching me.

We stepped onto the dance floor where a slow song was playing and it was absolutely miserable. All we were doing was left one, two, back step, right one, two, spin on a trill. It was the worst thing I've ever experienced in the history of ever.

"This is worse than I expected," Blaise whispered into my ear and I nodded.

"Absolutely dreadful, although, my mum and your dad seem to be having a good time," I whispered back indicating the two who had been laughing and talking since we left them.

"So do your father and my mother," he whispered indicating the other two who were glaring at the others and silently talking to one another.

I sighed deeply as I noticed father and Mrs. Zabini were watching us, "I wish we could find a way to get out of here, or at least make this more fun." Blaise gasped and his eyes widened before he grinned and leaned down to whisper to me again.

"I have an idea of how we can make this ten times more fun. You in?" he asked and I nodded. He walked me off of the dance floor and to Draco and Pansy who were talking about who knows what and whispered something to them. They grinned and nodded and Pansy dragged me up to my room and Blaise dragged Drake off to his.

"Mind telling me what we're doing?" I asked after she closed the door.

"You'll find out soon; now hold still." Pansy said taking out her wand. I did as I was told and she cut off extra pieces of frill off of my dress and shortened it. "Alright, now let's get you out of that corset." she said and I took off my dress. She undid my corset and I sighed and was finally able to move around without the fear of suffocating. She did the same thing to her dress as she did mine and took off her corset and we choose different pair of shoes from my closet.

I was now in a shorter, less frilly version of my original dress and I was wearing blue converse. Pansy's dress was now short an less frilly like mine but had the colors black and red, and she was wearing my red converse.

"Alright, Blaise should've snuck back down and told the band to play a different song." Pansy said peeking out of the door then immediately backed up as Draco and Blaise came in. They weren't wearing the same lame dress robes they were before, now they were wearing muggle jeans and Weird Sisters t-shirts.

"We should be good, the band is supposed to start playing any minute now. As soon as they start playing, our parents won't notice us slipping onto the dance floor until it's too late." Blaise said and as if on cue, The Weird Sister's "Do the Hippogriff" started playing.

"Let's go!" Pansy squealed dragging me out of my room and down the stairs with the boys following. As soon as we got downstairs we were on the dance floor, spinning and twirling and dancing. It was definitely the most fun I've had out of all of the time we've spent in Italy so far.

"BLAISE ZABINI!"

"PANSY PARKINSON!"

"DRACO LUSCIUS MALFOY!"

"SAMANTHA VIOLETTE NIGHTSHADE!"

Multiple voices all equally mad rang out and we instantly stopped dancing and looked at who yelled. There, standing angrily was Blaise's mother, Pansy's father, and Draco and I's father. Mum and Mr. Zabini were talking in the corner of the room but simply looked at us and made a face basically telling us we were on our own and looked away again. Out of all of our parents standing there, father was looking the angriest at me.

The rest of this summer is going to be hell.
