I placed my hands on my face, and placed my forehead on my knees.

Tears dripped down from my chin and onto my legs.

I'm so stupid. I should've never made that stupid deal with Nicole. I can't stand seeing Dante this sad.

The door to the janitors closest opened, and the light was turned on.

"Y/N?" A voice said quietly.

I looked up and saw Dante standing in front of the door.

He looked straight into my eyes.

"Dante, you can't, you can't be here." I say softly.

"Why not?" He asked.

"You just can't." I say again.

He sighed.

"Y/N, I know something is wrong, I want you to tell me what's wrong." He said.

He sat down across from me.

Should I tell him?

I mean, he won't go away unless I do.

I sniffled.

"I've been, avoiding you. And I swear I have a good explanation why." I say.

He looked at me, telling me to go on.

"Nicole told me to stay away from you. If I didn't, she would show the entire school my private emails." I say.

"I didn't, I didn't want to make the deal, but I also didn't want people seeing my emails."

He moved over so he was sitting beside me.

"I didn't mean to slap you, it was just, Nicole was there, watching us, and if I didn't get away from you, she would've posted the emails." I say again.

This time I looked up at him and saw him looking down at me.

"I'm, I'm so sorry." I cried.

Tears spilling down my cheeks.

"Hey, You have nothing to be sorry for. You were just doing what you thought was right. If anyone should he apologizing, It should be Nicole." He said.

"So, your not mad at me?" I asked.

He smiled and used his thumb to wipe my tears away.

"Of course not. I could never be mad at you. Your like, my best friend. That's a girl of course." He said.

I smiled a little bit.

Again, I'm just his friend. I don't even know why I bother anymore.

"Thanks Dante." I say.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me.

It took me by surprise, but I did, hug him back.

"You're welcome, Y/N. I will always, and I mean always, be here for you." He said.
