How It Was: Y/N's Year

//Two Days Later//

♤Y/N's P.O.V♤

It was after lunch and Katelyn decided to walk with me to our Drama class.

"So, how are things with you and Dante?" Katelyn asked me as we walked down the hallway.

"Meh, we don't really talk as much. Nicole never lets me talk to him. Not even about school project's." I say.

"I feel something special between you two. If you and him ever end up together, I swear, if he breaks your heart, I'll break his face." She said making her hands turn into fists. I smiled and pushed her playfully. We laughed as we turned the corner.

We both looked up and we saw a boy holding a gun up, toward a group of boys walking toward the glass doors that separated the lockers with the hallway with the library and gym. I widened my eyes and one of the boys looked at me and turned around. He noticed the boy with the gun and his eyes widened.

They ducked down and the gun was shot. Right threw the glass door. Glass fell from the door and onto the ground where I was. I felt pain in left leg and I let out a small scream. I looked down and saw blood on my sock.

(Yes, you are wearing knee socks.)

I looked around me and saw people running by me. Katelyn was gone. I hope she was ok. I looked up and saw the kid look down at me. He widened his eyes and stuffed the gun in his sweater pocket and ran. With the other kids like nothing happened. I slowly stood up. The closest place I could hide would be the library.

☆Katelyn's P.O.V☆

I ran out of the school.

I can't believe I left Y/N in there. I saw Dante get off a bus followed by Travis. They looked around, they looked confused. I ran over to them.

"Dante! Travis!" I yelled. They looked at me. "Kate! What's going on?!" Travis asked me as I reached them. He placed his hands on my shoulders.

"Someone has a gun inside." I say. "And Y/N, she's still inside." That's what got Dante's attention.

He looked at me. And then he ran toward the school. "Dante!" I heard Laurence yell. I look passed Travis's shoulders and saw Laurence and Garroth standing there. "Laurence, go stop him!" I heard the gym teacher say.

"Everyone else, on the bus!"

"Come on Kate." Travis said. I could tell he was sad, I know he's thinking that if something happened to Y/N, he wouldn't know what to do. And I know that because, I am thinking the same thing.

We got on the bus, while the gym teacher stayed. He told the bus driver to go and he did as he was told. I looked out the window as we drove away from the school. The last thing I saw was Dante and Laurence run into the school.

♡Dante's P.O.V♡

I went toward the equipment room and grabbed a baseball bat. "Here." I threw Laurence an extra baseball bat. He caught it.

"What's this for?" He asked. "Its for protection, against whoever has that gun." I say. He nodded.

"You coming with me? To find Y/N?" I asked. "I would, but Aphmau was in the tutor center, she could still be there." He said, I nodded.

"Good luck, I hope Y/N is safe." "Yea, good luck too." I say and walked out of the room.
