How It Was: Y/N's Year

//Chapter 12//

♤Y/N's P.O.V♤

For gym, our gym teacher decided that we would play Volleyball.

Our team, well, Me, Dante and the other people I don't know, won the game.

I like Volleyball, but when the person on the other side is named Nicole, and keeps trying to hit you with the ball, and makes it difficult for me, I kinda hate it.

"Hey, good game." Dante said from beside me.

Me and him were waiting until gym class ended so we could go to Math class.

"Thanks. You too." I say with a small smile.

"Thanks!"

"Dante, Y/N, since you two are the first ones out here, and god knows how long the others will take, you two can leave." Our gym teacher said.

"Really? Thanks!" Dante said standing up.

"You coming?" He asked holding out his hand.

I looked up at him and smiled.

I took his hand and he helped me stand up.

Even though I could stand up by myself But, Dante being Dante, just had to be nice.

We both walked out of the gym and walked to Math class.

//Later that night//

So, I was told to meet Gene and the others in the park, but I looked threw the whole park and no one is here. And it's kinda creepy being in the park alone at night.

"Hello?" I called out.

Oh yea, very smart. Just called out and draw attention to yourself.

I turned around to look around but saw a figure standing in the distance.

That totally is not scary.

The figure started to walk toward me.

But for some reason, I couldn't move.

Run Y/N! Don't just stand there!

"Kitty! Glad you came!" The figure said.

Seriously. It was just Gene.

"Ugh, Gene! Don't scare me like that." I say.

Gene stepped out of the shadows and smiled.

"Aw, did Kitty get scared?" He asked in a baby voice.

"N-No, I just thought you were someone else." I say.

He smirked.

"Aw, don't worry Kitty, I'll protect you." He said.

"Ha! I rather get protected by a bird then by you." I say crossing my arms.

He chuckled.

"So why did you get me to come to the park so late?" I asked.

"Ah, yes. Why don't you follow me." He said walked away.

I was confused at first, but I quickly followed him.

I did not, want to be alone in the dark.

I followed Gene until he walked down a hidden path to go under the bridge.

"You coming?" He asked walking the path.

I don't really have a choice. Do I?

I followed him down the path.

Where is he taking me?

We continued walking down the path until he stopped.

"Welcome, to the Shadow Knights hang out." Gene said.

He pushed back a bush at walked threw it.

I walked up to the bush and pushed it back and walked threw.

I looked around.

First a saw the bridge wall, then, a couple of chairs and a small table.

On the other side of the water was a big opening where anyone could see us.

This is a pretty cool, but pretty stupid hang out spot.

I looked over and saw Zenix and Sasha spray painting the wall of the bridge.

What were they even spray painting?

I pushed a piece of my hair back behind my ear.

What did I get myself into.
