How It Was: Y/N's Year

Y/N

After we bought all of our things, me, Vylad, Dante and Travis walked back to our place, Dante and Travis staying downstairs while me and Vylad went up to my room. We sat on my bed with our chips beside us and our drinks on the table in front of us and we had controllers in our hands, we decided to just play some minecraft.

Travis and Dante were currently planning and prepping for their party that my parents still don't know about. But my mind still is on how Travis has been acting lately, and I'm worried about him. He's never acted like this before.

"Still thinking about him?" Vylad asked, pausing our game. I looked over at him. "Yeah I am, he's not himself Vylad." I say looking at him. "Ever since the school shooting he's different, he's not the same Travis." "Maybe you should talk to him?" Vylad suggested. "Maybe I will." I say grabbing my crutches. I carefully stood up and walked out of the room. "Be careful as well." Vylad said. "Don't worry I will."

As soon as I did, loud music engulfed my ears. I walked down the upstairs hallway and walked past a couple of people. I carefully walked down the stairs and into the living room. My irene there are so many people here. I walked through the living room, trying to get past everyone, I pushed and said excuse me as I made my way through.

"Travis?" I called out through the loud music. I continued to walk around trying to find my brother but there was no luck. Where in irene is he?

Soon enough I was able to find at least one of the idiots who threw this party. Well looking, I ended finding Dante in the kitchen getting a bowl and a bag of chips. "Dante?" I said while walking up to him. He turned his head and looked at me. "Oh hey Y/N, what are you doing down here?" He asked me. "I'm looking for Travis, have you seen him?" I asked him. "Uhh yeah, he went outside for a couple of minutes, follow me I'll take you to him."

I nodded and followed Dante as we walked out of the kitchen. I'm wondering why Travis was outside. I tried to stay close to Dante but it was hard for me because of my crutches and I couldn't keep up. "Dante wait up." I said and tried to walk faster. Soon enough I had lost Dante in the crowd.

"Dante, Dante!" I called out for him as I kept going the way he was walking, but I suddenly tripped and fell forward, crashing into the floor, my bad leg hitting the floor. I gasped out in pain and grabbed my leg and held it close to me. I looked up and saw a bunch of people looking at me, and in front of me was Nicole, Lillian and Michi standing above me laughing. "Wow Y/N, watch where you're going on those crutches." Nicole said causing everyone around me to laugh.

I felt my lip start to quiver and a tear fall from my eyes. "Awww look, little Y/N is crying." Lillian said with a smirk planted on her lips while everyone kept laughing. "What's going on here?" I heard a voice say. "Y/N? Oh my irene."

I looked up and saw Travis walking up to me. "Hey hey are you okay?" He asked helping me sit up. I sniffled and shook my head. "Hey it's okay, I got you." Travis said before picking me up bridal style and picked up my crutches as well. "Who tripped her?" Travis asked looking at the crowd, everyone stayed silent. "I said who tripped her?!" Travis asked more angrily. Everyone pointed at Nicole, Lillian and Michi. Travis looked at them. "Get out of my house."

"Excuse me?" Nicole asked staring at him in disbelief. "I said get out, for hurting my sister who is already hurting from when she was shot in the leg, and also from you who always treats her horribly, so get out." Travis said. Nicole scoffed. "Let's go girls."

I watched as all three of them walked away and towards the door. "Let's get you back upstairs." Travis said while walking back towards the stairs. "Is Vylad still in your room?" He asked me. I nodded. "He's afraid to come out."

"Alright, I'll get you so-" "Travis!" Me and Travis both looked to the side and saw Dante running towards us. "What happened?" He asked. "Your girlfriend and her friends tripped Y/N and she hurt her leg." Travis explained. "Oh my Irene Y/N I'm so sorry, I thought you were right behind me." Dante said. "It's okay Dante." I say reassuring him.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked looking at Travis. "You can go to the freezer and grab a ice pack or some frozen vegetables to put on Y/N's leg, and then come back to her room." Travis said. "Got it, I'll be right back." Dante said walking towards the kitchen.

"Now let's get you back to Vylad."
