Chapter 7

Mackenzie's POV
I wake up the next morning laying on Matts chest.. Oh god did I really fall asleep like that?
I look up at him, and he's dead asleep.. Awe he looks so cute sleeping.. Wait what? Mackenzie snap out of it you can like Matt.. You just can't
Matts arm is around me, so I slowly move it and get out of bed.
"Morning beautiful" I hear Matt say
I turn around, and blush "Oh hi" I say
"I see you blushing" he says
"What? No pshh" I say giggling
He just smiles, and me and we stare at each other for what seems like forever.
"I'm gonna go get dressed" I say grabbing some clothes
"Okay" says Matt
I go into the washroom and change
My outfit:
White crop top with an infinity sign
Blue jean high rise shorts
White vans
I only ever wear vans because well.. It's the only shoe I look good in.
I curl my hair, and make loose curls at the bottom, and apply a bit of makeup.
Done!
I go out of the bathroom, and head downstairs where Matt, Matts dad, and my mom are all sitting in the kitchen
"Morning" I say as I sit down at the table beside Matt
"What's for breakfast?" I ask
"Help your self" says Matts dad
I look at the clock, and it's 7:40
Shit "I think I'll skip breakfast today.. Uh come on Matt let go" I say grabbing his arm and running to the door
"Woah what's the rush?" Says Matt
"I don't want to be late for school"
I say
"It's only 7:40" says Matt
"Still I take forever to walk to school" I say
"Fine" says Matt
We were about a quarter of the way to school and a car pulls up beside us
"Hey Matt want a ride?" Says the person in the car
I look over and it's Taylor Caniff
"No thanks I'm gonna walk today" says Matt
"What walk with this loser face?" Says Taylor
"She's not a loser Taylor.. Listen we need to talk when we get to school" says Matt
"Kay" says Taylor and drives off
Matts POV
Mackenzie had fallen asleep on my chest.. Wow her head is so light lol.. She's cute when she sleeps..
*next morning*
I wake up, and see that Mackenzie is already up
"Hey beautiful" I say
She looks over at me and blushes
YAY! She's blushes.. That's good.. I think?
She goes into the bathroom to change, and I get changed in my room
I wear the usual
Obey shirt
Sweater with the sleeves rolled up
Skinny jeans
Black vans
I head downstairs, and see Mackenzie's mom, and my dad kissing in the kitchen
Ew
"Morning" I say
They both jump and start laughing
I guess I scared them?
"Do you want breakfast?" Says my dad
"No thanks. I'm not hungry" I say sitting at the table
A while later I see Mackenzie come downstairs
"Morning" she says and sits beside me
"What's for breakfast" she asks
"You can help your self" says my dad
Mackenzie looks over at the clock and jumps up and grabs my wrist, and out the door
"What's the rush?" I say
"Were gonna be late for school" she says
"But it's only 7:40" I say
"Still I take forever to walk" she says
Whatever I'll walk with her. At least I get to spend more time with her
A little bit later Taylors car pulls up.. Oh great
"Hey Matt, want a ride?" He says
"No thanks I'll walk today" I say
"Walk with this loser face?" He says
"She's not a loser Taylor. I need to talk to you when we get to school" I say
"Kay" Taylor says, and drives off
