Chapter 8

Matts POV
"Hey.. Uh thanks Matt" says Mackenzie
"Thanks for what?" I say
"For sticking up for me" she says
"Oh well no problem" I say
Mackenzie and I reach the school and both head separate ways she goes to her locker, and I go find the boys.
All the boys were waiting outside at the back of the school where they always are.
"Hey Matt! I hear you were walking to school with loser face!" Says Cameron
"Yeah. Guys listen we NEED to talk"
"Okay." They all said in sync
"I think we should stop bullying Mackenzie" I say
"AHAHAHAHA" Carter and Nash say
"No I'm serious. She is super nice, and pretty. My dad and her mom have a thing going on, and I have to live with her" I say
"Sucks to be yoouuu" says Taylor
"Guys stop. Really we should.. We've bullied her since Grade 3 even tho we've all had a crush on her" I say
"You're right.." Says Taylor
"Hey Taylor.. Aren't you having that party tonight at your house?" Says Carter
"Uhm yeah... Why?" Says Taylor
"Matt should invite Mackenzie.. We can apologize to her then" says Carter
"Good idea. I'll talk to her" I say
"Hey wait.. Where's Cameron?" Says Taylor
"Uhm idk I'll call him" I say
Mackenzie's POV
Wow Matt actually stuck up go me.. Okay this is weird.
We get to the school and I go to my locker, and Matt goes to talk to the boys.
I walk down the halls and surprisingly no one noticed me. I guess my life isn't so bad anymore.
I get to my locker, and right when I was about to open it I hear
"Hey Slut"
I turn around and it's Nash
"What do you want!?" I say
"Nothing." He says
"Okay? Well why did you call me a slut for no reason? You know what I'm tired of you, and your stupid little friends bullying me all the time for no reason. What did I ever do to you? Matt told me you like me, and that all the other guys like me.. Is that why you've been picking on me? Because if it is you can cut it out." I say
Nash just stared at me with a blank face. I can't believe I just told him what Matt said. He will kill Matt.
Nash's POV
I walk into school, and see Mackenzie at her locker.
"Hey slut" I say
"What do you want?" She says
"Nothing" I say. I didn't want anything, but it's fun picking on her.
"Okay? Well why did you call me a slut for no reason? You know what I'm tired of you, and your stupid little friends bullying me all the time for no reason. What did I ever do to you? Matt told me you like me, and that all the other guys like me.. Is that why you've been picking on me? Because if it is you can cut it out." She says
Wow.. She's never actually stood up for herself before. She's also never talked hardly before.
I was shocked she actually said that, and I felt really bad
"I.. Um.. I..." I was cut of by my phone ringing
I answer it and it was Matt
