Lil momma looking for love in all the wrong places
She opens herself up
just to find that all the man wants is her body not her mind
She tries to over compensate so the outside more than the in
letting her insides die and rot her to the core
so that she places a dollar sign on her head
hoping one day the bid will sedate her
Knowing not her own value
but the value the highest bidder gave her
She never argues or fight for a higher bid
thinking her high spirits would deminsh her value
so she stays quiet and dreams
dreams the same as every little girl
but she knows even in her dreams they are impossible
so she wakes up tears and admission to fear
that one day her dreams become reality
but that she fails at them only to be worth
a box in the corner of some distant place
with everyone evades her
Because they can see, smell, and feel the value
of the nothing that she has become.
