A feminine shriek ripped through the cool air, tearing through the darkness of the lab. It filled every corner, every crevice with the echoes of the giver’s pain, shreds of terror tainting it further. It was a wonder those in their chambers didn’t stir, but most were still developing their processors, and the liquid energon muffled the sound enough to keep it from fully registering inside them.
Except for the one who stood outside her chamber, watching quietly, faceplate void of emotion as she watched and listened, the light blue femme in front of her writhing against the table where she was strapped down, leaving her helpless. Helpless as her CNA was warped mercilessly and her screams sounded around the large enclosed space.
Neither the scientist nor his created femme so much as blinked at her pain and discomfort. It was allowed to happen. CatEyes was allowed to be warped beyond recognition. And her processor went wild with flashes of this and that as she was.
‘Jazz . . .’ She barely recalled the thought of her soon-to-be-sparkmate. The Autobot soldier, who, last she knew, had been promoted to the Prime’s first Lieutenant. Shocks of electricity shot through her. Her wiring was taking a fair brunt. ‘You won’t forget me, will you?’
Her optics rolled back into her helm. She could envision the silver-colored mech, the first time they’d met.
“Hey!” A blast resonated behind her, taking out an attacker she hadn’t even known existed. She turned in time to see the burnt body, after dispatching the attacker who’d come from her front. She could see the smirking face of the silver mech who dashed over to her side, facing his back towards hers so they had a 360 degree vision on the dozen or so droids that were closing in.
“I’m not making a mistake by trusting you with my backside, am I, Femme? You are an Autobot, right? Don’t tell me this is some new scrapping Decepticon trick. Damsel in distress style, altering your insignia to trick some terribly noble mech who decides to come to your rescue. What a way to go that would be, wouldn’t it?” He shot a look her way before landing a blow on a droid that was closing distance to where they stood, sending it back flying with a fresh dent in it’s faceplate.
“You’re a mess of trouble now, aren’t you?” She asked, ducking, only to deliver a prompt blow to the helm of an attacking droid, sending it back against the ground. It didn’t get back up. She quickly righted herself, blocking a blow aimed for the back of the silver mech’s helm. “Not today . . .” She murmured, delivering an uppercut that sent a shockwave through the offending mech’s helm. With a quick draw of a dagger, she sent the sharp weapon through it’s spark chamber, causing him to offline, throwing him back.
“Hah! You’re one to talk! I find you surrounded by Decepticon droids, and I’m the one who’s trouble? You’re kidding right?” He smiled, though. It wasn’t often a femme was the one being surrounded by droids, much less holding her own as well as this one was. He sent a blast through another’s spark chamber, causing it to drop instantly.
It was only another few moments before what remained of the droids was exterminated. The burning, dented and energon-coated bodies lay in a few small heaps. It had been a small extermination group, Pit-bent on exterminating CatEyes herself.
Jazz looked around the area one last time before deciding it was safe to focus his attention on the blue femme and turned to look at her. His vents were a bit more demanding than his usual pace, but he smirked at her.
