Evelyn arrived shortly with a bag full of clothes for Kristin.

"I didn't know what you would like so I threw a bunch of different odds and ends in there," she handed the bag to Kristin.

"Wow, thanks a lot Evelyn. I can't believe you're doing this for me," Kristin pulled out some simple shorts with a top and walked over to the bathroom.

"No problem Kristin. We're basically family anyway," she laughed.

Kristin closed the bathroom door before Evelyn could see her blush.

The way she had been eyeing Kristin and Ryder told her she thought something else was going on between them.

Kristin changed quickly and french braided her wet hair before she walked back into the living room.

"You're so annoying," she heard Ryder mutter from the couch.

Evelyn rolled her eyes, changing the conversation when she saw Kristin.

"Thanks again," Kristin gave her a smile.

"No big deal. By the way, we should totally hang out some time, it'd be fun."

"We should," Kristin agreed, smiling.

"I need to get to know my cousin's mate better," she grinned, "Alright, I'll see you guys later. Gotta go kick some a*ss."

"What?" Kristin asked once Evelyn had left.

Ryder rolled his eyes, "Its fighter training. Evelyn thinks she's all that because she's in the top of her group."

"She's training to be a fighter?" Kristin wondered, thinking it was very rare to see a girl among the pack's fighters. Their training was long and hard, bringing out the toughest and strongest to the top.

Not that females couldn't handle it, they were just built differently. Most females would train to be trackers if they wanted to be involved with defending the pack.

"She's already a fighter. She trains others," Ryder got up from the couch and motioned for her to follow him.

Damn, Evelyn was literally the definition of badass girl power.

Kristin slowly followed after him, noticing his annoyed expression.

"She kicked your butt, didn't she?"

"What?" Ryder's eyebrows knitted together when he faced her.

"That's why you're low key bitter at her, right? Because she's a girl and she--"

"Seriously stop talking," Ryder gave her a fake- scowl.

Or was it real?

Kristin grinned at him, "So she did?"

Ryder ignored her and continued to walk towards his car.

"I wish I could've seen that," Kristin said as she got into the passenger seat.

"It would have been hard for you to see it because it never happened," Ryder gave her a flat look.
