seven - september

SEPTEMBER

It was September 13, and the boys had a flight back to England. It was also Niall's birthday, but since the flight was around 10 hours, they would be spending most of the day on a plane (which was normal for them since they traveled often).

A few hours into the flight, the boys brought out a cake for Niall, along with gifts and wishes for a happy birthday. They sliced the cake and gave pieces to the Niall, themselves, and then everyone else on the plane with them.

Niall hugged all of the boys, thanking them for everything, but his embrace with Liam seemed to last the longest.

It had been a week since Niall's birthday, and since they had a couple days till their next show, Liam decided to take Niall to his hometown (Louis and Harry were visiting their own parents, and since Niall's parents lived in Ireland, he couldn't see them for awhile and that's why Liam invited him).

After a two-hour train ride, they arrived in Wolverhampton, England. Liam showed Niall around, and after about an hour, they took a taxi to his parent's home.

In the car, Niall was a bit anxious, and Liam noticed. "You good?" he asked.

"Yeah," Niall admitted, "I'm just a little nervous to meet your parents." He shrugged.

"Don't be, they're nice people," Liam reassured him.

They arrived at the house, and Liam was right. They were incredibly nice people. Liam and Niall stayed for dinner, and Niall had a great time. The food was delicious, and Geoff and Karen were such caring and considerate people. He understood where Liam got his personality from.

At the end of the day, before the two left, Karen winked and her son and whispered in his ear, "He's a keeper."
