Chapter 25

Dakota's P.O.V btw

I sat down in my seat, placing my head on the desk and closed my eyes.

It was Monday today and I'm too tired to listen to the teacher talk. I sighed as I remembered my all mightier studying for a stupid maths test next lesson.

I laid my head on my arms and looked out the window to the left of me. My eyes were following a squirrel jump from branches when I felt a hand touch my thigh.

Jumping at the sudden contact and surprise, I hit my knee off the desk and swore under my breath so that no one would hear.

Looking up, my cheeks burnt bright red as the entire class was watching me. I glanced at the teacher to see that he also was looking at me with a annoyed expression, smiling sheepishly I smiled apologetically.

I rubbed my knee when he went back to teaching.

'Ouch, that looks painful, did it hurt?' Chris asked.

'Yeah, just a little bit.' I replied.

'Oh well, I didn't feel it.' Chris joked.

'Haha! Very funny.' I pouted.

'Sorry babe, how about we go out tonight?'

'Where to?' I asked.

'You choose, anywhere you like.'

'Ok.' I smiled.

'So... Where are we going?' Chris asked.

'I'm not sure yet, but be ready ready for 5.'

'Yes sir!' Chris saluted and smiled as I giggled.

Chris left it at that and began listening to the teacher. I pulled out my phone, I unlocked it and tapped on my messages.

Scrolling down, I clicked on Katy's name and started typing on the screen. After I finished I read it over.

'Hey Kate, me and Chris are going out tonight, know anything happening tonight?'

I hit send then put my phone in my lap. after a couple of minutes of doing nothing I feel a vibration come from my phone. Picking it up I read the message.

'Uhh, yeah... I believe the fair has been in town for the last 3 days and are here for today and tomorrow. :-)'

Perfect.

'Thanks Kate, love you x'

'Np bab, have a good night. Love u 2'

I smiled before locking my phone an putting it In my pocket, thinking about later.

I was walking into the cafeteria with Chris under my arm, thinking about the maths test.

"Do you think you did well babe?" I asked.

"I think I got over half of them right, so hopefully yeah. what about you?"
