Chapter 39

"Wake up!"

"Kota, move! Leave me alone."

"Baby, wake up. It's 1, I'm bored." I beg.

Chris pulled the covers over her head as she attempted to go back to sleep.

I get under with her and kiss her cheek, I then move to her lips and kiss her there.

I slip my tongue into her mouth at an attempt to wake her up. I move it around in her mouth as she starts to respond.

Grinning, I take the covers off of our heads, just as I'm about to grab her face to deepen the kiss she gently but painfully bites on my tongue.

"Ouch! Chris, that hurt." I say grabbing my tongue.

Chris starts to laugh as I hold my tongue, I lift an eyebrow before grinning myself. I move closer to her before lifting my hands. I start to tickle her sides and hold in my giggles as Chris's eyes widen.

She lays back down as I tickle her sides and now legs.

"No, d-don't. Kota! Please." She begs.

I laugh to myself as she wiggles about. I stop to allow her to breath properly before laying down beside her.

"Are you going to get up now?" I ask, smirking.

She glares at me as she slowly gets up and walks out the room. I follow her, like a lost puppy, as we go upstairs and into the kitchen.

"Good afternoon girls, hungry? I could make you something?" Lauren asks.

"No thank you, I already ate." I smile.

"Starving." Chris says.

"Okay darling, what would you like?" Lauren asks.

"Could you make me pancakes? I have a craving for those at the moment."

"Mhm." Lauren replies.

"Thanks mom."

I watch, smiling, as Chris gets up and kisses her on the cheek before sitting back down.

"So, Chris, I was thinking... Even though you're only 4 months and 2 weeks, I was wandering if you wanted to start thinking if baby names, just ideas." I suggest.

Chris's eyes light up as she thinks about it.

"Yeah, I've been thinking about that."

I nod my head before running back downstairs and into my room. I walk over to the desk and get a note pad as well as two pens, running upstairs, I lay them on the desk.

"Ok, so we both can have some paper and start making lists of names, make seperately for girls and boys. Even though the doctor said that you may be having a boy and a girl, there's still the chance of them either being a boy and boy or girl and girl." I start.

"What I was thinking was making a list of first and middle names of both genders, then narrowing it down to 4 names per gender that you really love and then we can compare." I explain.

Chris nods before ripping some piece of paper off, I roll my eyes as she hands me the pieces of paper and take the book, before grabbing a pen.

I hold a pen in my hands as I think, I split the page into 4 before writing subheadings. I stare at the paper before writing down what comes to mind.
