Chapter 14: Take a walk in the park It'll be fun they say and they weren't lying

Third person's POV

Sherwin and his mom got their order his mom got a danish pastry with grounded coffee while sherwin did get a croissant and luckily they did had milk shakes.

They walked out of the pastry shop. Both prefering to take a stroll while eating. "We need to explore this town as much as we can before school starts" sherwin's mom said. Sherwin hummed as took another bite from his croissant.

"By explore you mean the shopping districts?" He asked smiling at his mother knowing that's what she really meant. His mother only ruffled his hair and smiled "You know, you're mother too much" she said.

They continued to walk until they reached what seems to be the town's park. "Wow!" Sherwin said in awe as he took in the sight. Trees, flower, perfectly designed and pleasing to the eyes. "I should never leave my camera behind ever again" he noted him.

They strolled around the park eyeing the sight but eventually got seated down to one benches around the park. Sherwin finished his croissant and was now sipping his shake. His mom however already finished her's.

Sherwin was drinking his shake and looking at passersby. He then notices a familiar boy in his line of sight. "Dylan?" He thought as the said boy neared them. Waving at them.

"Hey!" Dylan said smiling. "Ohh hi, dear" sherwin's mom replied. "What's your name again I didn't get it from the first time we met" sherwin's mom asked. "Oh it's dylan" dylan replied. "Ah dylan. So do have plans for the day? Sherwin would love to join you" she said. Making sherwin choke on his milk shake.

Dylan laughed while sherwin gave her mom a "You just want to get rid of me do you?" Look, his mom seem to do understand and gave him a "Sorry, sweetie! I'll buy something later plus you need this" look.

She then look at dylan "Do you dear?" She asked. Dylan thought for a while "I'm with a friend at the moment.." he said making sherwin sigh and relieved. "But we can tag sherwin along" He said smiling.

"Umm t-that's o-ok-" sherwin got cut-off by his mom. "See? He'll go with you and your friend" she said as she got up. Sherwin looked at her horrified in which she just give a smile.

"I'll be off now. Take care boys and be home before 6:00, ok" she said as she walked away. Sherwin grimaced and saw his looked back at him with thumbs up "Make friends, sweetie" she whispered but sherwin practically understand it. He internally groaned.

Sherwin seated uncomfortable while dylan shifted side to side. "Care to wait a little while" dylan said breaking the silence. "S-sure" sherwin replied. Silence consume them again. "Ok. Think. Think sherwin. Say anything" sherwin thought. "Where's you're bike" he asked.

Dylan smiled "I got a flat tire so I left at the shop. I'll change the tire later" he said. "Do you have a bike?" He asked. "N-no, I don't. I don't even know how to ride a bike" sherwin replied giving a little laugh.

"I can teach you if tou want?" Dylan offered, sherwin smiled but didn't replied. He wasn't sure whether to accept it or not. Dylan looked at his watch. "Hey, sherwin I asked him to wait at the fountain in the center of the park" dylan said. "Let's go?" He added. Sherwin nodded and followed awkwqrdly. "Ok, just stay cool. Sherwin don't freak out. I mean sure I just met the guy and my mom left me with him but h-his cool" sherwin thought "just stay cool sherwin. It's gonna be fine" he added as he took a deep breath.

Moments later....

"It's not fine! Everything is not fine!?" Sherwin screamed in his head as the blong devil *ella* Stared at him as she wrap her arms around jonathan's. Jonathan desperately trying to shake her off but no good as dylan gave him a pity look at him.
