14 - bryce's secret videos

Mikey's POV (I KNOW THERE ARE A LOTTA TIME GAPS BUT JUST DEAL WITH IT PLEASE I AINT THAT GOOD OF A WRITER)

Two more weeks of summer have past. I know we were supposed to go on a road trip, but we delayed it until next year, but let me fill you in.

So a lot of things happened, well for me. So firstly, Justin and Raegan had their first argument so neither of them are talking right now.

Linden and Kana called it quits when there were constant rumours of Kana cheating on Linden, but none of us believed it because Kana is too innocent but Linden believes otherwise.

Tyler and Evan are also not together anymore because, Justin and Tyler sorta have this flirting thing going on, that's why Justin and Raegan are not speaking.

As for Jackson and Dylan, they seem to be the only relationship that is still holding on. They have been together a week, but liked each other for two months.

As for me and Bryce, honestly you think something would've happened, but nope. Bryce is still fucking pretending to be straight. Yeah it hurts, but Jack has been helping me get my mind off of him, as he introduced me to his group of friends and everything else.

But one thing that is happening soon, actually it's happening too soon.

So much things will change. Actually they already have changed. I've sold the house to a couple, who have two daughters and a son. They seemed like the nicest people so I allowed them to buy the house.

I've also been apartment shopping with Raegan and Jack. They helped me pick out one where the three of us could share. Obviously, they are paying their own way.

But so much things are happening, and honestly it's a miracle I'm keeping up with it all.

"Come on Mikey!" Jack yelled at me, while Raegan hauled in a large box to our apartment. Linden laughed at Raegan, who was obviously struggling.

I sighed, helped my brother and my friend. Soon, everything belonging to both Jack and Raegan were in the house. I didn't want to leave Jacksons house yet, which he was happy about.

"It's gonna be so weird without having you at home," Linden smiled at Raegan as tears filled her eyes. Raegan laughed, hugging his twin sister.

"It's okay Linn, it's not like I'm an hour away," he replied and she shook her head.

"You're 45 minutes away from me now Raegan, that's still a long way." Linden told Raegan, crossing her arms in frustration. I looked over at Jack, to see he was staring at me. The both of us laughed listening to Linden's bickering about Raegan leaving her and Raegan repeatedly hitting his head against the wall.

Me and Linden were on the bus home when I looked at her, to see her looking at the filthy ground of the bus. I nudged her, causing her to look up at me. She looked as if she was gonna burst into tears. 

"Why did Kana cheat on me, Mikey?" Linden asked softly. I sighed sitting up properly. 

"Linn, she would never do that," I told her, holding my hand up to stop her from talking. "A week before the rumours started, Kana told me that she loved you, imagine how hard this is for her?" I asked Linden, looking over at her. 

"She's the one being blamed for something that she isn't capable of, and she also is getting a lot of hate, plus she lost you," I told her as the bus stopped. 

"I'm gonna go talk to her," Linden muttered as we got off the bus. I nodded allowing her to go to Kana's house. I sighed, beginning to walk back to Jackson's when I was stopped. I turned around to see a pink haired boy, holding onto my wrist. 

"You're Mikey Barone right?" He asked in a tone which was unknown to me. I just nodded, utterly confused. 

"Bryce has been hurt," He began, with his voice cracking. I looked at him, in utter shock. "It's bad," He said, as he dragged me down to Bryce's house. When we stepped in side, the pink haired boy nodded, leaving the house. I looked at the now closed door. 

"Hey Mikey," I turned around to see Melissa, a face I haven't seen in a very long time. I froze. 

"What's going on?" I asked, following her into the kitchen, where he computer was on, with a video up on it. 

"Take a seat, he has over 20 half hour long videos on this thing that you need to see." Melissa said pressing the space button on the computer, starting the video. 

"Take one, I guess I'm gonna need a lot of takes," Bryce said the the camera, with a sigh leaving his mouth. 

"This is my one most feared thing today, and that is to confess my love for my best friend," I stared at the computer, while I looked at Bryce, seeing he was scared and shy at the same time. 

"Obviously, no one will see this so I can take as long as I want," he smiled, causing my lips to curl up. 

"So Mikey, you are the person I love, but at the end of the day, I cannot show you my love because I am scared, I'm scared that Melissa won't accept me and my parents definitely won't accept me, but I still can't help falling deeper in love with you and that's why I tend to distance myself from you, because I'd rather not hurt you." He paused, I remained looking at the computer. 

"Mikey, I'm like a broken piece of glass, if you touch me, I will hurt you, and it kills me to know I, not only hurt you, but made you cry. I can't stand not being in your presence, but I can't be in your presence or else I will hurt you, I understand Jack is your brother, and he is completely right about me, and he is right about the fact that I cannot keep hurting you, because," Bryce made eye contact with the camera, and I swear he must have known someone would've seen it, because the way he looked at the camera, he was begging for help. 

"Because Mikey, you are the light that lights up the room, I know terrible things happened to you, but you remain so strong and so happy and you are just someone that is too precious for this world, and for me to love you, its almost like a sin because you're an angel, and I am like a demon, its forbidden, but I still love you," Bryce paused. His eyes felt like they were looking deeper into my soul. 

"So today, I just faced my fear of telling Mikey Barone that I do in fact, love him," Bryce smiled before throwing up a peace sign and shutting off the camera. I just stared at the computer, as Melissa played the next video.
