42 - the barone-halls

Mikey's POV

Gathered around my kitchen table was Jackson, Dylan, Raegan, Linden, Jack, Jake, Justin, Tyler, with Lucia, Lyon and Milliana with their chins on the table so they were tall enough to look at everyone. Me and Bryce stood before everyone, smiling.

It's been two weeks since Bryce proposed to me, and we basically decided everything and have everything planned out. Even the date of the wedding. Yeah I know it's only been two weeks, but we were both way too excited and wanted to be married as soon as possible.

"We have an announcement," I told everyone with a smile.

"You're getting a new baby?!" Jackson, Justin and Linden asked with hopeful smiles. Lucia and Lyon's heads snapped to their direction.

"No! We have enough!" Lyon yelled while Lucia yelled in agreement. Me and Bryce chuckled before telling them that wasn't the announcement.

"It's something bigger," Bryce told them, winking at Dylan who had a huge smirk. Obviously Bryce confronted Dylan about the marriage proposal, I didn't mind though.

"You're moving?"

"One of you is dying?" Bizarre ideas where thrown at us until Dylan yelled out the answer.

"Their getting married!" Everyone fell completely silent and looked at us. Linden, Jackson and Justin yelled instantly, jumping up and hugging the pair of us. I chuckled as Linden attacked me into a hug.

"Oh my god! Brikey is getting married bitches!" Linden yelled.

"We have a date," Bryce added. Everyone stared at us again. Everyone sat down waiting for us reveal the date. I smiled looking at Bryce.

"Exactly one month from today," I told them, they furrowed their eyebrows and looked at us.

"In December?" Linden asked and we nodded.

"On the second, they day we met." After we discussed the wedding in greater detail, everyone left the house so we could put Lucia and Lyon to sleep. Like clockwork, I tucked Lucia into be while Bryce tucked Lyon into bed.

"Daddy?" Lucia's small voice asked just as I was going to turn off the light. I looked back at her with a smile.

"Yes sweetie?" I asked as she sat up.

"When you get married, do you wove a person?" She asked while I walked over to her. I nodded with a smile.

"Getting married means you want to spend the rest of your life with one person," I told her as a smile came on her face. She laid back down, with a huge grin.

"I wanna get married." She whispered. I chuckled before walking over to the light.

"I love you Lucia," I told her. She tilted her head up to look at me.

"I wove you too!" With that I turned out the light, then going to be where Bryce was already asleep.

The next day, Linden and Raegan demanded we went with them. Also telling us to leave the kids with Dylan's sister. Lucia and Lyon loved her so it was easy to leave them with her.

"Where the hell are we going?" I asked Linden, who was driving the car with a smile. Raegan turned around and looked at us.

"We are starting a tradition, but right now, it's to celebrate your engagement." Raegan informed us as we pulled up at a beach in the pitch dark. Oh yeah, it was also like ten in the night.

We all unloaded the car, walking onto the beach to see a bonfire surrounded with our friends. Jackson, and Dylan had guitars on their laps, playing random songs with huge smiles. Everyone else was laughing and enjoying themselves.
