"Madeline! Oh Madeline Madeline!" Logan bursts into my room at about 1 in the morning.
"What the fuck do you want Logan?" I rolled my eyes and reached over to the light switch and flipped it on.
"I have an amazing idea!" He claps his hands and sits on the edge of the bed.
"And you couldn't wait until the morning to tell me..?" I yawn.
"It is the morning." He says blankly and keeps talking, "Dads going away at the end of the month for a business trip and we are going to throw a party."
I narrow my eyes. "Logan that's an amazing idea! You see since I have no friends that would be the best party ever!" I turn the light off and lay back down. He presses his lips together and turns on the light again.
"Don't be silly you have your man friend Mitchell-"
"Michael." I correct him.
"Yes, Michael. Anyways, you have him and it's the second day of the month so essentially you have the whole month to make new friends and I'll invite mine." He smiles.
"You want sophomores and seniors at the same party.."
"Mhm. No one really cares anyways."
"Fine. Get out of my room now please." I say with annoyance and shut the lights off again.
"The hostility." Logan laughs and leaves my room.
------
I was really excited to see Michael that morning, he was so nice to me and my first real friend in high school. Actually my first real friend..ever I guess.
I walk into the commons of my school and see him. He was standing in a group of three other guys. They looked familiar. Just like Michael, they were all pretty attractive. I was hoping for Michael not to notice me when I walked by because I just wasn't really good with talking to new people. I stared at him as I walked by and right as I turn away I catch a glimpse of his eyes on me.
"Maddie!"
Shit.
I smile and walk toward him. He gives me a small hug. "How are you doing?" he asks.
"I'm okay. Yourself?"
"I was just telling my friends about you." He smiles at me and his green eyes meet mine and I glance away.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah he was!" One of the boys winks at me and Michael rolls his eyes. The boy had brown hair that feathered over his forehead and a little bit into his right eye. "My name's Ashton, I'm in your math class, I sit in the back." He smirks.
"I thought I recognized you." I smile at him.
"Hi Maddie, I'm Luke." He reaches out his hand for a shake and I shake it lightly. He had light brown hair that was gelled up, he pulled it off well.
"And I'm Calum." A boy with black hair and a round face waves.
"It was nice to meet you. I have to go talk to one of my teachers.. I'll see you in first period Michael." He smiles and nods.
--MICHAEL'S POINT OF VIEW--
"Dude she was hot, I had to say I kind of doubted it. I didn't know who you were talking about until I saw her, that girl never says anything." Ashton slapped my arm.
"Agreed." Calum and Luke say at the same time.
"She's really sweet too, I mean like I don't know.. she's so p-"
