"Has anyone ever told you how stunning you are?" he slightly bites at his bottom lip. I try to hold back a smile and my whole face turns red.

"No.. not really.." I say.

"That's a shame. I like being the first to do something so, Maddie, you're absolutely gorgeous." He flashes his charming smile like he always does.

"Thank you Michael." I giggle.

"Why thank me for stating facts?"

He pulls up into a drive way that I assumed was his own.

"My parents aren't home and we got a big ass trampoline." He laughs and leads me straight through his house and into the back yard. It was cozy, I liked it. He took his shoes off and I did the same then he started jumping on the trampoline.

"Are you going to join me?" He asks. I nod and he helps me onto it. I was about to stand up when he bounces his feet right next to me.

"Michael!" I squeal as I fall on to my back. "You're such a dick." We both laugh and he actually helps me up that time.

"No, I'm not." He bats his eyes at me with a mischievous grin on his face. I didn't notice before but his hands were on my waist.

"I-I know. You're not." I agree. It was true. The small amount of people who have talked to me haven't been welcoming. Michael could have not brought up the fact that we ran into each other, but he did and now I'm at his house with him close to me only two days later.

His small grin turns into a full on smile as he starts to tickle me. I squeeze my eyes together because I was very ticklish. I push him away from me and we both start laughing.

"You Madeline Carter are ticklish! I must say I suspected." He smirked and laid down on the trampoline.

"And what about you Michael..." well I didn't know his last name..

"Clifford." He says, "Michael Clifford."

"Like the big red dog?" I laugh.

"Ha ha like I haven't heard that one before." He playfully rolls his eyes.

--MICHAELS POV--

She stood in front of me and her hips curved out in the most beautiful way. Her long brown hair gently moved over her elbows and back as she leaned down to gently move her perfectly manicured nails over my stomach. I lightly push her hand away and my legs squirm.

"Oh god don't do that." I gasp. She throws her head back in laughter and lays about three feet to my left.

"So you are too." She smiles over at me and I couldn't help but smile back. Her deep blue eyes sent me back a reflection of myself.

"Tell me about yourself Maddie. I hardly know anything about you." I frown. I wasn't frowning at not knowing anything about her, I'll let her think that though. I was frowning because I actually wanted to know. It was unlike myself.

"Hmm okay. I was born on August 13th, I have an older brother, his name is Logan, he's a senior and he's 18. He's also my best friend which is almost sad. I live with him, my dad, and my mom. Or at least used to. She's been in the hospital. My dad is an attorney. I'm not that close with him. I'm close with my mom, she didn't work a whole lot because she didn't have to. She stayed home with me and Logan and she took us anywhere we wanted to go. She always gave me most of the love because I was her little girl and-"

"You still are Maddie. You always will be." I assure her. She just nods and goes on.

"Let's see.. I've never had any real friends, never had a boyfriend, never had anyone really except my family. I like acting. I've been taking theater my whole entire life. I took if at first because I thought it would get me out of my shell, obviously it didn't. But I had a hobby. I like beaches and traveling. I read a lot and write a lot... that's about it."
