When the pressure is on, He is making diamonds

Dear whoever you are,

I know you are tired. Well, I don't really know you, because God alone, in all the world, knows what you are exactly feeling. It may sound so horrific to you to hear that your family's finance for your school tuition is not stable, or you maybe you are so tired to think of those friends you wish to have or get to along with, but things don't just go the way you want, and they left you or whatever. Not to mention that scholarship that you badly and dying to win, like you spent your spare hours to work with that application, but it doesn't just go the way you desire.

Then you think that someone must be so luckier than you because they got it right? And oh, the pimples in your face seems to stay forever even you plead them a million times it is okay to leave anytime. Of course, don't forget the broken dreams you always wanted to reach. You're imagining the possibilities, but then at some point of time, you are too weak to believe in it anymore. The magic stops on sparkling. The lights turned off. The stars turned into rocks. Those childhood dreams and high school goals seem to fade away like the wind.

It became arid like Sahara dessert and your heart became cold as winter. You reminisced Iain Thomas 'words as he said that "The hardest and coldest people you met were once warm as water, and that is the tragedy of living". You believe it because you have been there. You have to be honest, there was a time that you just give your whole time wasting sitting in the corner of your room, longing you will see a ray of light that will come rushing through your eyesight, praying a miracle will fall like a rain of May. It's easy to feel hopeless when you are keeping your eyes on the dark. It is easy to get hurt when you are the one who holds the knife inside you and keep killing yourself over and over again.

It is easy to be a pessimist in times of an adverse situation. But did you ever think, even just once in your life, that there must be Someone out there GREATER than all of these? That there is someone who is much enormous than the waves you are surfing into? Someone who could talk to the ocean and someone who is being obeyed by the wind. The ONE who calls the stars by name regardless it is billion in numbers. The one who is the ray of sunshine to your darkest days. Of course, it is, again, easy not to believe compared to believing it in a snap. But maybe, you haven't tried it yet that is maybe the sole reason why you're not trying to lit your faith on fire. You know, sometimes we are being pressured because we are not just bound to be a rock. We are bound to be a diamond.

I heard someone who is really an inspiration says, that a diamond will not become a diamond, stunning as that, until it is being hastened and pressured by fire. It takes year or more than that for it to shine like it is really a "diamond". For without the fire that keeps it to be strong along with the compounds it has inside, it won't become like that. So, figure it out as if you are the diamond, well, we are all a diamond, and you are experiencing all sorts of pressures in life right now, teach your mind and let your heart tells you that you are being pressured for you to become not just a strong and independent person, but a DIAMOND.

Not an ordinary diamond, but a queer kind of gem that will someday shine to the lives of many on most of all, to shine for his Creator. Consider God's word in the bible "My friends consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. James 1:2-3. And the corresponding verse gives it assurance "Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:4) The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is making a diamond out of you, so be patient, endure the process and pin your faith alone to the One who makes a diamond out of dust. Sometimes, or all the time, it takes a leap of faith to see the light amidst the tunnel you are in.

Love,

Nicole <3
