It was a day filled with pressure, even we're not really made to be like a pressure cooker as a student but it is really a day filled with sort of that. So I was with Chelsea, one of my closest and glamour-filled classmate. It was the last day before the completion rites in junior high school. the thing is, our clearances are not yet cleared. So, we did our best to catch it up, as long as we can. Plus, we have this attendance sheet that should be assigned to the subject teachers in charge, since it is still part of our school days. First, we went somewhere called F. Canay. It is a little forest-like place in our small town. There, the "cayan"(kind of fertilizer in the soil made out from the grain of rice) brought from as part of our requirements. We waited for more like 30 minutes and I have to be honest, it is getting border and border. If God didn't give me much patience, I would be really not in the mood at all, which observes a proper etiquette. I found it really amusing knowing there are lots of things that had been circled to me that day, which to me, are hidden inspirations to get through waiting. A little cute girl met me and my classmates. That kind of little girl who smiles when you glance at once. She looks like a Korean person, but she is a pure Filipino. She was looking at us smiling and smiling, but then as we call whatever her name, she just hid her face and refuse to talk to us. I and my classmates were actually laughing because we tried guessing her name to whatever we though it is. She was truly a blessing to us that time, that as we waited, we didn't actually feel worse while doing the thing. Until our work over there was done, we dashed to the school back to settle things right. It is between 12 o'clock in the afternoon while I and Chelsea decided to go home after we practiced the completion marching for the said activity. As we walked passed the gate of the school, we were shocked as we see that there's no tricycle available. So, reluctantly, we just walked over like 30 meters away from the school (already). Finally, one tricycle fetched us, unfortunately, since we are just two people riding on it, the driver decided to go back to the school and fetch some other students waiting. Chelsea, became a bit annoyed as she said: "Here we go again". I just smiled. We didn't know the reason why we were pulled back at the school until we have seen the queue of students that trailed up to the school gate. The reason? It is because, we are oblivious with the fact that our math teacher, who in all honesty, took the attendance sheet too seriously, was at that time, signing the sheet. I was just amazed by the fact that we were brought us back there it isn't just because the odds are on our favor, but because God is in our side, and He alone gives the favor. With that, we were both saved. Another thing, it is passed 5:00 pm, still we were on the school's ground, waiting for another signature to be signed in our clearances. Wait, do you know what is the main reason why we cannot just go home and say Ï don't acre about this anymore, it's no big deal"kind of thing. Our teachers told us if we cannot be able to settle our clearances, or until all the spaces on the sheet were signed on, we could not march for the next day's program. I and Chelsea, again, waited like we cannot actually wait anymore. She sometimes says that this isn't fair anymore and it is better for us to go home. We just can't because, at any point of that time, our teacher will sign the clearance. While waiting, again, something seems to trigger the fun out of us both. Our guy classmate, CyrellNapao, had this application on his phone which about guessing logos. Chelsea found it really fun for she knows most of the logo. We cannot just let Cyrell turn off his phone or we cannot just go home from school knowing the other level of the game is being unlocked as we collected some points to every category. We were so busy on having fun to the point that we didn't bother to check what time is it, but the surrounding really was telling us that it is kind of late. It was really almost 25 minutes or so that we have both soaked our eyes on the screen. We did not feel that it is time for our agony of waiting to be over. Our clearances are to be singed! Finally! And we have it as fast as we thought it would be longer. That day, wasn't yet over until this last thing happened. I and Shane, my another classmate have only one left signature needed to be cleared up. It is the PTA's. We already paid the fees, but she failed to sign it at the back of our clearances. It was almost 7:00 in the evening. We decided to dash to the PTA's house, like it is a door-to-door appointment. We were eager to go their house, but we were both felt shy as we were going to interrupt someone's house whilst the darkness ruled in the world as that time, unfortunately, it was blocked out. With all adverse situations happened, good things never failed to shine. As we both saw our classmate Biona, trying to do the same thing as ours. Their house is just at the front of the PTA treasurer's. our shyness and hesitation faded as we were walking with Biona heading to the treasurer's house. Everything went just while as we prayed it will be. The PTA treasure did sign it automatically after checking some record and viola! Everything was done. We did marched on the completion ceremonial rites plus, we all learned an important lesson. It is patience. I can't actually still figured it our why God has been teaching me this since. Maybe someday I will know and I'll be just thankful. Oh wait, it is not that shocking thing to e to discover all of these we cannot say as coincidences circumstances, but a well planned one, since I remember that on that morning, I sincerely prayed that God will handle everything right and I did ask Him that He will lay out everything on His hands. If we leave everything on Him, everything really is falling on its proper places. Thus, God's word is practical, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. " Prov. 3:5&6. The thing is not all about our clearances, but it is about God, who is making everything cleared for our benefits.
