Chapter One

I love Keithy-boi!!!!!!

I walked out of my room, down the hallway and out the door to the ship waiting for me. I looked around at the vast galaxy that surrounded me.
I was in a rebel base that was hidden in a pocket of space. The rebel group was called the blade of marmora. They were against zarkon and have been fighting his riegn for a long time. Most of the blade of marmora consisted of galra. There were some that weren't galra also, there was different kinds of species. There were a lot of galra that supported zarkons reign, but there was a lot that opposed him too.

I made my way to the ship and made my way to my seat. I have been with this rebel group for a little over a year now. They found me when I was roaming the galaxy lost. I am from earth. I was a part of a mission to the planet kerberos but we were attacked by the galra and were not prepared. There were four of us in total. There was the main pilot, the commander of the mission, shiro. I was the co pilot ans then two engineers, father and son, Sam and Matt Holt.

We were on the planet harvesting ice and discovering a lot about the unknown galaxy. The mission was the first mission to go out that far in earths history. And it was my first mission. I'm sure on earth they are calling it a failure. But the people from earth, they don't know what's out there. All of our lives we believe that we are alone and safe.... But we're not. There is a powerful source out there that is slowly taking over the galaxy and earth is next.

When the galra attacked, I was in the ship checking the premieter and when I looked up I saw a ship attacking the three out side. I ran out side to help them but shiro yelled at me and told me to run. And I listened. I ran back in side and ran to an escape pod. I waited long enough to see my friends, my comrades being pulled on to the enemy ship. I took off when I saw alien soldiers running to our ship. I was able to get away but had no idea where i was going.

After a couple months of roaming the galaxy, looking for my friends the blade of marmora found me when I was attacked by some galra soldiers. I thought they were with zarkon so I fought back. I was confused and lost. I didn't know who to trust and everything around me was different. Space was so different from earth. There were all different kinds of species and people. After they explained who they were, I listened. They knew about some humans being captured but they didn't know that one escaped. So when they saw me they assumed I was from that mission. They took me to one of their bases and started training me to fight the galra along side them. I have been with them ever since. That was a year ago. They have been helping me to find my friends.

When I first meet the rebels, they gave me the option to go back to earth. I told them no. That I wanted to stay and fight and that I wanted them to train me to fight. I could fight already but they taught me so much more. I have gone on missions with them and we have rescued a lot of people from the galras clutches. But I still haven't found my friends. I didnt know Sam and matt all that well. All I knew about them was that matt had a sister named katie. They talked about her all the time. But I knew shiro pretty well. He helped teach me how to fly. When I first started at the Garrison, I struggled really bad. I just couldn't get a hold of it. I almost quite.

But then I meet shiro and he encouraged me to keep trying. He always said "patience yeilds focus" that was his motto and it helped. He helped me so much and I needed to find him. I owed him so much. If I didnt stay at the Garrison, I don't know what I would have done. I didnt want to go back home because my dad was a drunk and a horrible person and my mother died when I was 3. Shiro became a brother to me. I was really lucky to have meet him when I did. I know I'm saying that now when all of this has happened. But I don't think I would have changed it. Well one thing I would changed. I wouldn't have been a coward and have saved them and not just run and saved myself. I was selfish. I just thought about myself.
That night I made a promise to myself. That I would save them and bring them home. I just have to find them first.
