Chapter four

We started walking down the hallway when allura spoke up. "How about we get something to eat first? Y/n, you must be starving." I didn't realize how hungry I was until she mentioned food. My stomach started growling. I looked up at allura. "Yes, very."

"Okay let's go eat! I'll make up some food!" Hunk said, eagerly clapping his hands together. "Oh! You are in for a treat, y/n! Hunks cooking is amazing!" Lance said, walking next to me as we made our way to the kitchen. Hunk blushed at the compliment. "Awe thanks buddy."

We all followed Hunk into the kitchen and sat down at the long table, waiting for hunk to work his magic. At first it was silent while we waited. Then pidge spoke up. "So Y/n, you said earlier that yoy have gone on different missions. Will you tell us about them?" She asked eagerly. "Yeah, I'm curious too." Lance said, sitting across from me, next to her. "Hmm sure why not." I said shrugging my shoulders. "Ohh! And tell us about your two friends that you mentioned earlier!" Hunk screamed from where he was cooking.

"Okay." I smiled. I told them about a mission I went on with just Calista and Za and about how we were almost captured. Our mission was to take down a small base. It wasn't very big since it was a information base. There wasn't that many sentries so it didn't require a big group. Our teams specialty was stealth. We could get in and out with out anyone knowing.

But things didn't go that way this time. Calista and Za were fighting the whole time. They were practically at each others throats. They were fighting over the stupidest thing. Who could defeat more galrans faster. They always fought over stupid little things like that but never during missions. This was a first. At first I was getting so mad because they wouldn't focus on the mission. We were in the middle of a galra base and they were in each others face, yelling at each other.

"Would you guys please SHUT THE HELL UP!? We have a mission to do." I screamed at the two behind me arguing.

They pointed at each other. "He started it!" "She started it!" They screamed at the same time. They both growled and got in to each others face again.

"Guys come on. Focus. Let's get this mission over with then you can fight all you want. Far away where I can't hear you." The last sentence I whispered.

"Ugh, fine." They both groaned. When we ran into galras sentries, they started counting how many they killed. It was nothing but a big contest being them. At first it annoyed the shit out of me but then they reminded me of something. I started laughing. They both just stared at me.

"What's so funny?" Calista asked, eyebrow raised.

"You guys remind me of a movie I watched when I was little. Its called 'Lord of the Rings'. There are these two guys that did the same thing you guys do, they kept track of how many soldiers they killed. It was a contest between them." I started laughing again. They just stared at me. I cleared my throat. "I'll explain later, when we get out of here. Now come on!" I went to turn the corner and ran right into a galra sentry. "Ohh, look at what we have here. A little stray." He said and went to grab my arm. Before he could lay a hand on me, Calista shot him in the chest with her oversized gun. He fell to the ground, dead. I looked over at Calista. "Thanks." I nodded. She smiled and propped the gun on her shoulder. "You owe me."

We ran down the hallway, being careful not to run into anymore galra sentries. We found the control room and I run up to the monitor and started typing away. Calista and Za stood guard behind me. Things were going just fine then a galra sentry walked in. They fired at the same time and the sentry fell to the ground. "Ha, another one for me" Calista smiled, proudly. "No! I shot him first!" Za screamed, throwing his fist to his side. "No! I shot him first!" Calista pointed to herself. They started yelling at the same time.
