Zayn's POV

I was still sitting down in the pool steps by myself, while the others were splashing each other and having a lot of fun. Seeing them all have fun made me jealous.

I just hope that Chloe will actually be able to help me get rid of my fear and teach me how to swim, so I can have as much fun as everyone else.

We heard the door to the backyard open instantly laughing filled the air.

We all turned around at the same time to face both girls had changed into a 2 piece bathing suits. Chloe was wearing a white one while Andrea was wearing a black one...and let me just say that they looked breathtaking.

"You should close your mouths. You don't want to swallow a fly." Andrea smirks. I turn to see that the other boys staring at them with their eyes and mouths wide open, just like I did a few seconds ago. I also notice that a certain curly haired boy wasn't here...he probably went to change too.

Andrea pulls Chloe with her and drags her while she jumps inside the pool. They splash all of us, causing to break everyone from their trance.

They both float back to the surface and Chloe scold Andrea, making her laugh even more.

"Andrea! You should've at least let me tie my hair! It's really long and you know I can't swim unless it's tied because then it gets in my face and I can't see."

"Sheesh! Chloe calm down. Here I have an extra one." She says and hands it to her.

"Hey Chloe do you want me to bring all the pool shit you bought over there!" Harry shouts from inside.

Chloe turns to face me and I nod. I hope I don't regret this later on.

"Yes! Please and thank you!" She shouts back.

Harry runs outside in his swim trunks and throws aside the bags full of the 'pool shit', as Harry says. After throwing them to the side he jumps inside the pool and joins us.

He jumps back up to the surface and admires both girls.

"Woah! You look hot." He wolf whistles.

"Fuck off curly." Chloe splashes him and Andrea laughs.

"You are so weird. I was right! One moment your shy and the next you don't give a fuck." Andrea tells Chloe.

That was weird. I never thought Chloe was the shy type of girl. Apparently everyone else agrees because they all turn to look at her.

"I-I-I." she stutters.

"I never thought you were a shy girl. When I met you you didn't even seem shy at all." Niall says.

"Well when I first met you I was pissed that a stranger made me drop Starbucks all over me. Twice." I remind him. "I may not seem like the shy kind of girl but I am...well sometimes. Once I feel comfortable I'm the craziest person. "

"I've noticed." Harry mumbles.

"Excuse me Harold? Just so you know I have a disease and that's why I'm crazy."

"A disease?"

"Yeah. I have a disease called awesome. You won't understand it since you don't have it." I shout back.

"I do too! I-" he begins to say but is interrupted when I put my finger over his lips.

"Shhh peasant." She says and then turns to me. "Anyways Zayn you ready for your swimming listen."

"Yeah. Yeah. Let's just get this over with."

"Gee that's the spirit." She rolls her eyes which makes me chuckle.

Chloe gets out of the pool and goes to the bag full of the pool supplies. She begins to get out the stuff and immediately I regret everything.

"Well you said baby steps." She innocently shrugs and begins to laugh.

In her arms there are two pairs of arm floaties. A Spider-Man one and a Disney Princess one. She also has one of those donut shaped floaties designed with rubber duckies all around.

By now everyone was laughing.

"I-I wasn't...sure which one...to get you. So I just got all of them." She says between her laughs. "But I think the princess one is more like your style."

"I give up. Forget swimming. I never learned how and I definitely don't need to learn now." I begin to get irritated.

"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. It was just a joke. I'll still to teach you though."

"Okay then let's just get this over with." I groan and she gets back in the water.

Chloe's POV

"Okay so first we have to overcome your fear of water. So for now just paddle in the shallow end." I say as I grab ahold of his hands and show him what to do.

"Zayn your tense." I stop him. "You have to understand that panicking will only get you into trouble. There's no reason to be scared, I'm hear. You can trust me." I give him a genuine smile and he nods. I move and sit on the side of the pool as I motion him to follow me.

I demonstrate how to do the arm moments of a simple stroke. I instruct him to copy me and I correct any mistakes. After he has that part right I get back inside the water with him.

I get him to hold onto the side of the pool with his arms, and kick with his legs. I also give him a guidance on how to much correctly, so that he can feel confident when he finally starts to swim. I also make him do this on his back so that he can see his legs as he is doing it, making it easier for him.

I then lead him to the middle of the shallow end and convince him to lift his feet off the ground. Since this is a big step for someone who can't swim, without a side to hold on to, it takes a bit more of time. Again, I grab ahold of his hands, and give him a buoyancy aid. I then tell him to try treading water, I demonstrate this again since he doesn't know how it works.

"Okay that's it for today. Your doing really good Zayn."

Clapping and cheering is heard from behind us. We both turn around to see everyone else with a huge smile.

"Where you watching us the whole time?" I ask when I realize that I never payed attention to them. It felt as if we were in our own little world. Obviously it felt that way since I was completely and utterly focused on Zayn's safety.

"Yeah. We were all heading inside awhile ago but we decided to watch and wait until the lesson was done." Louis explains and then heads inside, along with everyone else.

"So are you still afraid if water?" I ask Zayn.

"Well not as much as before. But I'm still a bit scared for when I start to swim."

"It's okay. You're just a beginner and it's absolutely okay to be afraid since these are the first strokes of your life."

"Well once again thanks."

"No problem. Does tomorrow sound okay for your next lesson?" I ask and he nods.

"I'm gonna head inside now.Are you gonna come?"

"I think I'll stay a few minutes longer."

"Suit yourself." He shrugs and walks inside.

I'm left alone and the pool. I swim a few laps and enjoying the peaceful movements of the water. After I'm done swimming I head back inside to take a shower.
