I hear a knock on my door. "(Y/n)! You need to get up!"
"Five more minutes." I groan.
"(Y/n) either get up or I'm coming in there."
"Fine!" I get out of bed, and put on my clothes. I walk out of my room. "Thanks for the wake up call, Bastion." I say sarcastically.
"If it wern't for me you would have missed your first day, now you might want to go put your jacket on." I walk back into my room, and grab my jacket. After I put my jacket on Bastion and I walked to class.
"We can sit over here." Bastion points towards two open seats. We walk over, and sit down and class begins.
"Alright class, lets start be introducing the freshman we have in here this morning." Professor Crowler says. "Now if your a freshman would you please stand up." Do I really have to stand up, and introduce myself? "Hurry up now freshman, we don't have all day." I groan, and stand up.
Blair's pov
I stand up, and notice there is only two freshman in my class, myself, and (y/n). Why is there only two freshman in this class? This isn't some kind of sign is it?
"Alright lets start with you." I hear Crowler say.
"Fine. I'm (y/n) (l/n)." (Y/n) introduced himself. He sounds happy to be here. "Can I sit down now?"
"Yes. Now you." Crowler points at me.
"I'm Blair Flanagan nice to meet all of you." I sit back down.
"Great now that's out of the way, lets get into today's assignment." Crowler pulls out a bowl with some strips of paper in it. "Today's assignment will be fairly simple. Two students, who's name's I will be drawing out of this bowl will duel, and the rest of you will observe." Crowler sticks his hand in the bowl, and pulls out two pieces of paper. "And the students that will be dueling are." Crowler opens the first piece of paper. "(Y/n) (l/n)." Crowler opens the other piece of paper.
Jaden's pov
Please! Please! Please let it be me! I want to duel (y/n)!
Jesse's pov
Please be me!
Syrus's pov
Please don't be me. Please don't be me. Please don't me.
"And the student dueling (y/n) (l/n), is.... Jesse Anderson!" Think god it's not me!
Jesse's pov
Awesome! I stand up and walk, down the stairs, to the front of the class. I finally get to see what (y/n) can do!
(Y/n)'s pov
Great a duel first thing in the morning. Just what I wanted. I stand up and walk down the stairs, and stand next to Jesse.
"Now that we have are duelists here, lets get today's lesson underway." Crowler says. At least from what I hear Jesse is supposed to have some really powerful deck.
Jesse and I both activate our duel disks, and draw our first hands. "Since your new here you can go first, (y/n)."
"Alright here goes nothing!" I draw my first card. Komodo dragon huh. That could be really handy. "I'll start by setting two cards face down, and summoning one monster in face down defense. I end my turn your go, Jesse."
Bastion's pov
From what I've heard, and seen of (y/n) play, him playing defensively is weird.
