Chapter 10 - Memories

"(Y/n)... I-I meant y..."

"There they are!" Hasselberry shouts cutting Blair off.

Jesse runs over to me. "Is everything thing alright? After you guy took off running we followed."

Blair let out a sigh. "Yeah; everything is fine."

"Hey where's Jaden and Alexis?" Syrus asked.

"I thought they were right behind us." Bastion said. Bastion looked at Blair then looked back at me. "Perhaps we should leave Blair and (y/n) alone." Bastion begins to walk back towards the beach, and Jesse, Syrus, and Hasselberry follow behind.

I turn and face Blair. "Blair what's wrong are you ok?"

Blair looks up at me, and wipes a tear away from her face. "I'm fine (y/n), let's just go back to the beach." Blair begins to walk back, and I follow behind. There's something she's not telling me. Now question is, do I keep trying to get information out of her, or do I just leave it alone? My thought was cut off by Blair stopping in front of me.

"(Y/n) tell me, what would you say if Alexis were to ask you out?" What why does Blair care about what I would say is Alexis asks me out? "Are you not going to answer me?"

"Sorry I don't know what I would say." I walk a head of Blair. "Besides it doesn't matter what I would say. It's not like Alexis likes me. I'm pretty sure the only reason she talks to me is because we were childhood friends." I stop walking, to let Blair catch up. "Plus I'm certain she likes Jaden."

"You really think that huh?" Blair says with a hint of sadness in her voice. "If only I was so lucky." Blair mumbles.

"What?" I ask, knowing what she said.

"Nothing." Blair stops walking. "I think I'm just gonna go back to the dorm. I'll see you later (y/n)."

"Later Blair." I walk back to the beach, but I can't shake what Blair mumbled. What does she mean by "if only she was that lucky"?

"Hey (y/n) where's Blair?" Jesse runs over to me.

"She went back to the dorm."

"That suck, I can't blame her. Taking a loss like that has to be crushing."

"It is, but I don't think that's why she ran off."

"Oh well, I'm sure she'll be fine. Blair's a tough girl. Now let's go have some fun!" Jesse runs all the way to the water, and tries to run into the water but he falls face first. He stands back up, holding his nose, and walks back out of the water. "Ok not my smartest idea."

"Hey (y/n)!" Alexis walks over to me. "Can I talk to you."

"Sure I guess." Alexis walks toward a rock on the other side of the beach, and I follow her. "Is there a reason we came all the way over h..." before I could finish my sentence Alexis wrapped her arms around me, and placed he lips on mine. Alexis sunk into the kiss, but I was shocked by it. A couple seconds later Alexis separated from me.

"(Y/n) will you go out with me?" Alexis looks up at me, waiting for my answer.

"I... uh... yeah." I shockingly managed to find my words.
