Chapter 7 - Light Magician

"I'll start by Summoning my Cyber Petit Angel in attack. Now thinks to my angel's special effect. I can now add a Cyber Angel or a Machine Angel Ritual spell card to my hand. And I chose to add my Cyber Angel Idaten. Now I'll use my Machine Angel Ritual spell to send Cyber Prima to the grave to summon my Cyber Angel Idaten now thanks to Idaten's ability I get to add on Machine Angel Ritual from my graveyard to my hand. I'll place one card face down, and  end my turn." Don't worry Blair, this shouldn't take long.

Light draws. "I'll start by Summoning my Skilled Dark Magician. Then I'll activate my spell card, Swords of Revaling Light. Now for the next three turns you can't attack. Also I get to place one spell counter on my Magician. I'll end my turn."

I draw a card. Great now every time I play a spell he gets a spell counter. "I play my field spell Ritual Sanctuary!" The area changed into the inside of a church. "I'll use Sanctuary's effect to ditch one spell card to and a Light Fairy from my deck." I add my Cyber Angel Benten to my hand.

"Thinks for that cause now my Magician gets another spell counter." Light laughs.

"I'll play my Machine Angel Absolute Ritual! By shuffling a warrior or a fairy monster from my graveyard back into my deck I can ritual summon a monster. So I'm putting back my Cyber Prima to summon my Cyber Angel Benten!"

"And that makes three counter!" Light laughs meniacly. "Soon (y/n) you along with everyone else at this academy shall see the light."

"Whatever. I'll place another card face down and end my turn."

Light draws one card. "First I tribute my Skilled Dark Magician to summon out My Dark Magician from my deck. Now I'll activate my Polymerization to fuse my Dark Magician with my Buster Blader to create my ultimate monster Dark Palidan! Now Palidan destroy his Idaten!"

"Not happening! I activate my trap card Draining Shield." Dark Palidan's attack is negated and I gain twenty nine hundred life points.

"I place on card face and end my turn."

I draw again. "I'll play my..."

"Not so fast I activate my quick play spell, Magical Burn. If I control a spellcaster with twenty five hundred or more attack you take a thousand points of damage for every card on your field, and by my count that four." I take for thousand points of damage dropping me down to twenty nine hundred. "Guess it's a good thing you used that trap card. Oh and by they I have something else for you." I hear Blair scream. I look over, and see a floating Saw cutting the rope. "Every time you lose life points she gets closer to falling to her death."

"I'm not messing around now. I activate my spell card, Graceful Charity." I draw three cards then I discard two. "I use my Ritual Sancturay to ditch one spell to add a Cyber Angel to my hand." I add Varsh. "I activate my spell card Mystical Space Typhoon to get rid of the Swords of Revealing Light. Now I'll use my Machine Angel Ritual to tribute my Cyber Angel Idaten on my field with my Etolie Cyber in my hand to summon my Cyber Angel Varsh in attack. And since Varsh was Ritual summoned you she destroys your Dark Palidan, and you take a thousand points of damage." Light goes down to three thousand life. "Now I play my spell, Ritual Buster. By sending one ritual monster I control to the grave you can't activate effects. Now see ya later Varsh." I tribute Varsh. "Now it's time to use Ritual Sanctuary's other effect I can return any number of spell cards from my graveyard to special summon one monster who's level matches the number of spells sent back. So I'll send six back to my deck to summon my Cyber Angel Idaten!" Idaten returns to the field. "Now Idaten and Benten end this." Idaten attacks for sixteen hundred and Benten attacks for eighteen hundred, for a combined total of thirty four hundred damage.

Light falls to the ground. "I... I lost. Master Sartorious will not be pleased." Light stands up. "No matter I may not have been able to make you join the light, but I will take away your will to duel!" Light grabs the floating saw, and finishes cutting the rope holding up Blair.

"Blair!" I jump off the edge of the cliff and catch Blair, and we both plummet into the sea. I hold onto to Blair, and swim to the surface of the water. "Blair! Blair! Are you alright?" She doesn't respond so I quickly swim to the beach, and when we reach land I lay her down. "Blair please. Blair answer me." She still doesn't respond. Damn it! I punch the sand. Why? She was such a nice girl, why did dhe have to d... My thought was cut of by the feeling of something soft, and wet on my lips. I open my eyes to see Blair face to face with me with her lips pressed against mine. After a sencond she backs away from me with a blush on her face. I can also feel my face starting to heat up. "W-what was that for?"

"A thanks for saving me." Bliar's face gets even red.

"What's wrong are you ok?" I ask.

"I fine I just realised that was my first kiss." Her blush deepens.

"It was mine to."

"Really?" Blair looked at me dumbfounded.

"What?"

"Nothing. I was just wondering if you could carry me back to the room?" Blair asked. "When we hit the water I hurt my back."

"No problem." I stand up, and pick up Blair Bridal style. She wraps her arms around my neck, and I start to walk back.

Alexis's pov

"Hey Alexis!" Mindy yells as she and Jasmine run to catch up to me.

"Where you headed?" Jasmine asks.

"Back to the dorm." I answered.

"Do you mind if we tag along?" Mindy asked.

"I don't see why not." Three of us start walking together.

"So did you see (y/n) today?" Jasmine asked.

"No why?" I answered.

"He was apparently walking around the whole Island." Mindy said. "I figured you'd at least see him once today."

"I think she's about to." Jasmine says.

"What..." I turn and see (y/n) carrying Blair. Why?... Why is he carrying her like that?

I start to feel angry so I walk towards the girls dorm faster than I was. Reach the dorm, and when I walk inside Ms. Fontaine tries to talk to me, but I ignore her and walk up to my room.

Jasmine's pov

Mindy and I walk into the dorm, and see Ms. Fontaine looking up stairs. "Is everything alright?" I ask.

She looks over at me and Mindy. "Oh hi girls. I'm just worried about Alexis she seems mad. Do either of you know why?" Of course I know why, and I'm not happy about it either.

"She saw (y/n) carrying Blair." Mindy answered.

"(Y/n)?" Ms. Fontaine put her hand to her chin. "Isn't he the one that's in that tag duel tomorrow?"

"That's the one." I say.

"Well hopefully Alexis will be alright. I'm gonna go to bed. good night girls." Ms. Fontaine walks to her room.

(Y/n)'s pov

I open the door to Blair's room, and I lay her down on her bed. I grab my bag, and walk over to the spare bed, and lay down. What in the he'll was that? psycho wannabe magician talking about? What is the light? These are all questions for another day. At least Blair is safe. "Good night Blair." No response huh? She must already be asleep. I roll over and I fall asleep.

Blair's pov

"Good night Blair." I hear (y/n) say, but I decide to let him think I was asleep.

I lay in bed, just staring at my ceiling. I'm sorry Alexis, but I think I'm falling for your prince charming. I try to fall asleep, but I can't. I end up staring at the ceiling for another hour. I get out of bed, and walk over to (y/n)'s bed. He looks so at peace when he's asleep. I was gonna wake him up, but I think I'm just gonna let him sleep. I turn to walk back to my bed, but I stop. I debate for a second, and decide to lay down next to (y/n). When I lay down (y/n) rolls over, and wraps his arms around me and pulls me closer to him. I can feel my face heating up. Well at least I don't think I'm falling for him anymore.............. Because I already know I've completely fallen for him.
