Professor Crowler's pov
I sit in Chancellor Shepherds office, and hear a knock on the door. "Crowler do you mind getting that?" Shepherd asked.
I walk over to the door, and open it. "Hello." A man wearing a nice suit says.
"Who might you be?" I asked.
"My name is..."
"Ah. Mr.(l/n), you've arrived." Mr.(l/n)? Is this (y/n)'s father? "So what business would you like to discuss?"
"I would like to talk about my son." Mr. (L/n) walks past me, and sits in front of Shepherd.
"Which one?" Shepherd asked. Which one, does (y/n) have a brother?
"Both of them actually." Mr. (L/n) sits up. "I would like for my sons to duel each other." Why does he want his son's to face each other? And another question who's his other son?
"I do believe we can make that happen." I say. "But why do you want them to duel?"
"Never once did I talk to you." Mr. (L/n) said. "Now I expect to see them battle soon." Mr. (L/n) gets up, but stops and looks up at the screen.
"Oh it would appear there is a duel going on. I wonder who's dueling?" Shepherd says. "Oh it looks like it's Zane Truesdale and (y/n). This should be quite the interesting duel."
"That it shall." Mr. (L/n) glares at the screen.
Jaden's pov
"Am I ever gonna get to duel (y/n)!" I shout as I watch (y/n) and Zane duel.
"Could you not yell right in my ear please?" Syrus asks.
"Yea calm down Jaden." Jesse says. "You'll get you chance."
"But I wanted to be the first one to beat him not, Zane!" I say.
"How do you even know Zane will win?" Jesse asks.
"(Y/n) only has a thousand life points left, and Zane has his Cyber End Dragon out."
"That doesn't mean he's going to win!" Syrus yells.
(Y/n)'s pov
Damn it! I can't lose this. Come on something good. I draw my card. Thank god! I'll summon my king of swamp. I'll then activate my call of the haunted trap, to summon my Blue Eyes white dragon from the graveyard. Now I use polymerization to fuse my Blue Eyes White Dragon in my hand with the one on my field and my king of swamp to summon my Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Thank god Zane doesn't have any face down cards. "Neo destroy his Cyber End Dragon!" Neo detroyed Zane's monster and dealt five hundred damage. "Now peep the hardware, Zane. Because thanks to Neo's effect I can send one Blue Eyes monster, from my extra deck, to the graveyard, and now my Dragon can attack again. Now Neo end this!" Neo attacks dealing four thousand five hundred damage. I won, thank god.
Jaden's pov
"Wait (y/n) won." Syrus says shocked.
"Of course he won." I say.
"Wern't you the one that thought he was going to lose?" Jesse says
"What! no!" I say. Both Syrus and Jaden Laugh.
Crowler's pov
"I would like for that duel to be sooner rather then later." Mr. (L/n) says.
"How much sooner?" Shepherd asks.
"Tomorrow before I leave." Mr. (L/n) walks towards the door. "Also that will be a dorm switch duel. Whoever loses becomes a Slifer." Mr. (L/n) walk out of the room. People say I'm a terrible person.
Shepherd sighs. "This won't just result in a dorm switch."
"What?" I ask.
"I hate to say it, but ever since his wife died, Rex has become a terrible person." Shepherd puts his arms on his deck. "This duel will result in one of those two leaving the school."
"Wait why would one of them have to leave the school?"
"Rex doesn't allow failure, and which ever one of them loses will be considered a failure."
"Who exactly is (y/n)'s brother?"
"Lance Kiba."
"Kiba? You mean as in Kiba co. Kiba?"
"Yes. (Y/n) and Lance's mother was Seto's sister."
"I didn't know he had a sister."
"A lot people didn't. Seto's father never made her publicly know."
"Why does Lance and (y/n) not have the same last name?"
"Rex wanted it to be know his oldest son was apart of the Kiba family."
"Why doesn't (y/n) have the Kiba name?"
"I'm not sure. I would just assume it has something to do with Rex's pride."
Alexis's pov
"Where did they go?" I ask.
"I don't know. I looked away for five seconds, and Jaden, Syrus, and Jesse vanished." Bastion says.
"How did they vanish from your sight?" I say.
"I don't know. Maybe we should just head back to our dorms." Maybe he's right. We've been walking around for an hour.
"I guess we should." Bastion and I go our separate ways, and I head back to the girls dorm. Well I guess I'll have to wait to ask (y/n) if he remembers me. Hang have I even talked to him since we got to the academy? I should probably try that first.
Bastion's pov
"Hey Bastion!" A guy called to me as I walked into the dorm. "Did you hear?"
"Hear what?"
"Your friend (y/n) beat Zane Truesdale today."
"Wait what?"
"And he's dueling some guy named Lance tomorrow in a dorm switch exam."
"We're already having dorm switch exams?"
"No apparently it's just these two." Weird. I wonder why (y/n) is in a dorm switch exam on his second day at school.
Jaden's pov
"Hey Jaden did you hear that (y/n)'s in a dorm switch exam tomorrow?" Syrus asked.
I roll out of bed. "Will I ever get to duel him?"
"Stop being so dramatic."
"Fine. But isn't a little weird for there to be a dorm switch exam on the second day of school?"
"Not that you mention it, it is pretty weird." I wonder what's going on.
(Y/n)'s pov
"So (y/n) you never answered my question." Cyber said as she landed on my head.
"I still play because I hope one day I can meet the girl I used to play with again." I walk back to my dorm.
"Awe your in love with her."
"I am no..."
"(Y/n) who are you talking to?" I hear Crowler, behind me, ask. Crap I didn't realize I was talking out loud.
"Um... myself." Well I guess it's less crazy then saying I'm talking to a imaginary mechanical angel.
"Well nevermind that. I came to tell you tomorrow you will be facing Lance Kiba in a dorm switch exam." Crowler walks off after giving me the news. I have to duel Lance tomorrow. Why?
"Isn't he your brother?"
And he's one of the reason I almost quit playing.
