From Two Different Worlds

First Date! Don't Be Nervous!

Mike POV:

    Today is the day I take Angie out for our date, I start to get nervous while I get ready but I shake it off and finish getting ready. After few minutes I was ready I head to the garage, got into the car, and start driving to Angie's house. I finally pull up to the house and park the car. I start to walk to the front door and I start getting nervous even more now but I took a deep breath 'Calm down Mike you can do this! Just be yourself.' I told myself I press the door bell to let her know I was here, I start to hear heels coming from inside of the house, the door open and I see Angie standing there looking like a Goddess. Angie is wearing a black pencil skirt with a red crop top, and her hair is all up in a 50's bun. "You ready Mike?" I snapped out of it "Um yeah I am ready you got everything?" I asked her Angie nods her head yes. I watch her grab a jacket and locked the door we walked to car and I open the car door for her. "Thank you kind sir." Angie says in a giggle voice which made me smile.

Angie POV:

   As we are driving I was looking out the window trying to figure out where we were going "Mike where are you taking me?" I asked me still facing the window I hear him laugh a bit "If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it." I started to pout a bit I hated surprise, I start to notice a big screen like a movie screen as we get closer I knew where we were at. "Mike are you taking me to drive in movie?" I looking at him all happy he nods his head yes "I thought this was good way get to know each other and plus I remember you were telling me you like classic films." I was super happy! I could not believe that Mike is taking to drive in theater I always wanted go to one. 

      I watch Mike trying to find a parking stop that is close to the screen, after ten minutes we finally did. He puts the car in park and took down the roof of the car so we can see the movie better, a lady come up to the car and asked what would we like to eat; Mike asked for popcorn and a soda I asked for a hot dog, box of candy, and water. "So Mike what movie are we watching tonight?" I asked him putting on my jacket because it was starting to get little chilly, before he could answer me the lady came back with the food Mike grabs the food from the lady and hands me my food. "So the movie we are watching tonight is Bring Up Baby, I really hope you like the movie." Mike tells me putting a piece of popcorn into his mouth; I tell him that I love that movie that it's one of my favorite films. 

Mike POV: 

    As we get settle in to watch the movie which I just found it's one Angie's favorite films I couldn't help but be happy right now; I am having a lot fun with her talking about random things getting to know her better. After few minutes the movie began and we stop talking for a bit and enjoy the movie from time to time during the film I kept looking at Angie her laugh was so cute and it makes me happy that she is enjoying herself. I grab the box of popcorn and asked her if she wanted some popcorn which she did then, handed me some of the candy she had which I gladly took a few. As the movie came to a end I hear someone clapping it was Angie "No matter how many times I watch that movie it still a awesome movie don't you agree Mike?" She looked me and I couldn't help but to blush; I nod my head in agreement I looked at my watch and it was still early "Say would you like get some coffee or ice cream?" I asked her Angie nods her head to coffee. 

    I grabbed all the food, got out of the car to head to a trash can, threw them away, and headed back to the car. I started up the car and we head to a small coffee shop which me and Chester go everyday to get coffee. I open the coffee shop door for her which said thank you to me, as we sat down to wait for the waiter to take our order I start to ask Angie about her personal life. She tells me that she moved out of her parents house when she was eighteen into Mel's place which I actually found out that Mel's folks own the house and they pay rent. 

Me: Do you have any siblings? 

Angie: *Shakes her head* No I don't I am actually only child how about Mike?

Me: I have a brother, must be hard trying juggle two jobs and college right now?

Angie: I actually lost my second job other day so I can't go out as much as I use to hehe. 

Me: What happen Angie? 

Angie: The company was going out of business so everyone was let go so now I need to find another job, I just updated my resume so tomorrow I going online to apply for another job. Which makes me sad because I was pretty good at the job. 

Me: What was the job? 

Angie: Basically using social media to make events for singers, art galleries, etc. It was pretty cool job makes me sad that the company was going out of business. 

  Hearing Angie lost her job I felt bad for her, she tells me that she will be right back that needs to use the restroom. As I sat there waiting for her come back I just remember something we need someone to help us out with our social media accounts, I call up one the of my buddies and asked him if that job was still open luckily it still was. I tell him about Angie and how she was a perfect for the job, he asked me for Angie's info which I gave him I told him not to tell her that I called. I see Angie coming back to hung up on the phone I see her sat down "Everything okay Mike?" I nod my head "Yup everything is fine so have you decided what to get?" She nods her head the waiter came by and took our orders.  

Few Hours Later: 

   After hanging out with Angie today I totally want hang out again with her, I have notice when I am with her the smile on my face doesn't go away. Finally made back to her place I parked the car and start walking with her to her house. Angie turns around and faced me "I had a lot fun today Mike thank you so much for today." I rub the back of my head all nervous "I did as well would you like to hang out again?" I hear giggle like a school girl "Of course we can hang out again I would really like that." It made me smile that she wanted spend time with me like I want spend time with her. "Um Mike can I do something and you promise you won't get mad?" I can hear her start getting nervous I told her yes she can, she tells me close my eyes and which I did then next thing I know I fell her lips on top of mine. Angie's lips were so soft I can feel that she wanted kiss me all night, I kissed her back to let her know I feel the same way as she does. We finish the kiss I can the blush on her face which I really thought it was cute "So I will see you tomorrow?" I asked her she nods her head and gives me a big smile "Good night Mike." Angie tells me as she close the door, I stand there for a moment taking my finger across my lips, a grim forms on my face I never thought I would enjoy a kiss like that again. I walked to my car and drove home still have the smile on my face.
