From Two Different Worlds

You Are the Best!

Angie POV:

     I have been in the hospital for the past few weeks and Mike has been a angel, he been coming by with the guys checking up on me to see how I am doing. The doctor said I could leave soon because my concussion has going away which makes me happy getting tired laying in bed all day. "So Angie you going back to work once you are out of the hospital?" I hear Rob asking me I shake my head no "Not yet my boss wants me take few more days off until I can work with no issues luckily by then my ribs would be okay for me to talk normal." I tell him he nods his head. I look at Mike and I can see something is bothering him I squeeze his hand letting him know that I can see he is bothering by something. I knew that he didn't want tell me but I gave him a look saying 'Please talk to me?' I hear him sigh and he starts to lean forward still holding my hand.

Mike POV:

     I have been visiting Angie at hospital since she got it by the car, when I am not visiting her I am taking care of my boys but lately with everything that is coming up soon I have been little bit stress out. Planning a release party, figuring out tour dates, interviews, etc. I feel Angie hand on top of mine and gave it a squeeze, I looked down and I see in her eyes that she noticed I am stressed out "Mike what's wrong?" She asked me. I give out a huge sigh and explain to her what has been happening since the accident. "Mike if you have things to do then go and do them, I will be okay in few days I will be out of the hospital and don't need worry about picking me up Mel is going to and she also took few days off to help me out. I rather you go and help with your band mates then sitting here worrying about me." I looked into her eyes and I knew if I try make any excuse to spend time with her because I am worried about her Angie will not allow it. She wants me to pay attention to the band and figure things out with them then me sitting here stressing out over everything. I kissed her hand lightly and smiled at her "You are the best you know that?" I hear Angie giggle little bit "I know I am the best!" I start to laugh when she said that. I give her a kiss on the forehead and I told her let me know when see home safe.

Few Days Later:

Angie POV:

      Like I told Mike Mel checked me out of the hospital and we start heading home the doctor told me that he wants to see me in two weeks to see how my ribs and leg are doing. As soon as I get home I see a huge bouquet of roses waiting for me. I roll up to the counter since I can't walk for a while. I grab the card to see who it is from. 'Angie we hope get better and ready to take over this world! -Linkin Park'. I start to laugh when I read the card they are excited to start working with me. I roll back in my wheelchair and start heading to the couch, Mel helps me on to the couch where Max hops up and starts giving me kisses "Well I missed you too buddy!" Max finally settled down and puts his head on my lap and starts to falls asleep right there and then. 

    I was watching TV relaxing when I hear the door bell go off, I mute the TV and looked towards the front door. Mel goes open I couldn't see what was going on, I heard the front door close and I see Mel walking towards me with small bouquet of flowers and small box. "This came for you my dear." I watch her place the flowers and box on the coffee table, she hands me the card that came with it. I open the card and see who it was from 'Hey hope you get better want take you out soon xoxo -Mike'. I start to smile I open the box and I see it was a box of chocolate cover strawberries which are my favorite. "That was sweet of him to send you some sweets." I hear Mel I nod my head, I grab my phone and texted Mike to let him know I got the flowers and box also thank you for them. I place my phone down and start to fall sleep.

Mike POV:

   Been so busy with everything that is happening for the new album coming out soon. Me and the band agree to wait to do the release party once Angie is all healed. I finally got to sit down and relax for a while. Suddenly my phone dings I grab it to see who it is from. I start to smile to see it's from Angie.'Hey! Just got the flowers and chocolate that you sent me they are beautiful thank you so much Mike! I love them! I am going to take a nap I will text you later xoxo'. I smiled when I hear that she enjoy the gift I sent her. I see Chester come in "Hey man what's up?" I asked him Chester sits in one the chairs across from me "Say you think Angie would be up to a double date?" I was shocked to hear him ask that question "Where did this come from?" I asked him I watch him rub back of his head "Well you see Talinda wants to meet Angie and I told her I have ask before we make plans." I knew that Angie is sleeping so I texted her if she was up to a double date with Chester and his wife. I hear my phone ding I was surprised to see that she texted me back 'Hey Mike! I am up for a double date if they don't mind me being a wheelchair through out the date let me know the details by the way you didn't wake me couldn't sleep'. So I told Chester that Angie is up to the double date. "Awesome I will let Talinda know tonight and text you the info when I do." I nod my head I hear a knock at the door and I see Dave standing there and he tells us that we still have a lot to do. Me and Chester both sigh at the same time we notice this and starts to laugh  after we both sigh at the same time. I was littler bit nervous about the double date I knew that Talinda and my ex wife are really good friends even after the divorce but I was hopping that she has a open mind to get to know Angie. I hear my phone go ding again, I looked down to see who it was and it was Angie she sends me a picture of her eating one the strawberries that I sent her. I couldn't help but to laugh that the picture it was so funny and cute at the same time. Angie knows how busy I have been lately but it makes me happy to know that she can still make me laugh and make my day ten times better.
