From Two Different Worlds

Thank You So Much!

Angie POV: 

    I spent the day looking up jobs and filling out application, I sighed out annoyance "This is so annoying why trying find a job is hard," I thought to myself I leaned back in my chair, after few minutes I hear my phone goes off I see someone texted me. I smile to see it's from Mike 'Hey Angie! I just wanted to wish you good luck looking for a job, text me if you need any help.' Reading his text made my day, suddenly I get a email 'Maybe one the places I apply to is emailing me back.' I thought to myself as I open the email it's a email from a social media company that handles live footage and posting it on the internet. 

Dear Angie, 

    I received a call that you were looking for a job in social media world and I wanted to let you know that I looked over your resume and your job history, I think you would be a perfect candidate for the job! I am really looking forward to hear your respond if you are interested in the job give me reply to this email. Hope to hear from you soon.

 Media Factory

     I literally shot out of my chair of enjoyment I couldn't believe the biggest social media company wanted to hire me! I sat back down and reply to the email telling them that I would love the job and I am looking forward to the first day of work. I scramble to get my phone and to call Mike, I hear the phone ring "Thank you for calling Mike's phone this is Chester how can I help you!" I start to laugh "Hey Chazzy! It's Angie is Mike around?" He starts to laugh because he knew it was me "Hey Angie what's up?" I tell him that I just got a awesome job at one the biggest companies out there, "No way! Congrats Angie when do you start?" I tell him that I am waiting for a responds from the company when I start and what I am going to be doing. Then I remember something "Say Mike isn't the Media Factory the company that records your guys videos and places them on YouTube?" I hear a sigh on the other end of the phone "Yes they are I called a friend and told him that you would be a good candidate for the job that just open few days back. I am sorry Angie I was only trying to help." I couldn't be mad at him he was trying to help me out since I just lost my job, I tell him that I am graceful that he did this for me and I won't let him down. 

Mike POV:

   Hearing that Angie isn't mad at me for helping her get the job was a sigh of relief. Angie tells me that she will text me later on all the details about the job, I told her I hope hear from her soon and I hung up the phone. After I got off the phone I see Chester staring at me with a creepy smile on his face. "What's up Chester?" I see him grabbing the chair and sitting in front of me "Come on man! Tell me how the date went! Did she kiss you?" I start to blush when he asked that and a smile start creep up on my face. "AH! I KNEW IT!!! Was she a good kisser?" Chester asking I started getting even more red in the face to his question, all I could do is nod my head. Chester jumps up from the chair and gives me a high five, I return the high five I told him that I took Angie to drive-in movie and the coffee afterwards. 

      Once I was done telling him what happen yesterday I can see a smile on Chester's face I was confused why we was smiling. "What's with the smile man?" He shakes his head "Nothing man I just happy to see life back in your eyes, I am happy that Angie is part of your life." It made me happy to hear that. I turned around to face the computer and I told Chester that we need to get to work on the new album. Then it hit me Angie will be traveling with us when we go on tour, she will be missing a lot school and might have to quit her other job not to mention her therapy dog. I helped Angie out but I made things little bit harder now for her 'Nice going Mike! Now you made it ten times harder for Angie.' I thought to myself I have to give her call later tell her to forget the job she just got. 

Few Hours Later: 

   After working on the record for a while we decided to take break, I took this time to give Angie a call. I hear the phone ring it rang three times thinking she not going to answer suddenly I hear someone answer the call "Hey Mike what's up?" It was Angie I sigh out of relieve "Hey I just wanted give you call and see what is going on with the new job?" I hear Angie sigh which I have a bad feeling it is not good news. "Well the good news is that they allow my therapy dog come with me on my trips and I can do some my school work online, the bad news is I can't have two jobs at once because I will be missing a lot work hours." I was happy that it wasn't too bad but she can't have her other job which she actually like going to. "So what are you going to do Angie?"

    I asked her I was happy whatever she decides on from here on out I am going to support her no matter what. "Well I gave it a good thinking so I let my boss know for the time being I can't work there while you guys are touring but I can work when they need my help when I am not touring and thankfully she agrees with me." It made me happy to hear that she figured out few things. We continue talking that I found out that she will be with us when we go on tour soon and that she needs save up money to afford the hotel rooms and equipment for the job. Then I remember at the media job the producers bring their gear and everything, I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was Chester. He tells me to cover my phone so Angie can't hear him"Why don't we buy her the equipment as congrats on the job." I think Chester's idea is a good one I nod my head to let him know I agree with his idea. "Hey Mike?" I hear Angie calling my name "Yes Angie?" I responded back there was small pause on the other end of the call "I was wondering if you are not busy if you can come by the studio, there is a outfit I have been working on and I need someone try it on." I told her to text me the address and I will be there in a hour if she still needs me. "Oh thank you Mike you have no idea how much this means to me also maybe can bring Chester too? I think I have suit that needs fitting as well." I looked at Chester and asked him if he is free today and he gives me a thumbs up. I tell her that Chester and I will be there in a hour. With that we hung up the phone, few minutes later Angie text me the address of the studio. 

Hour Later: 

Mike POV: 

    Chester and I made it to the studio it was a brick building in the middle on Downtown LA, as we walked up to the door of the building I was looking for Angie's name thankfully I did. I pressed the bottom "Hello?" I hear Angie's voice on the other end I told her it was me and Chester she tells us that studio is on the second floor and she will buzz us in. Sure enough Angie did we go up the stairs to the room where Angie is at and I can hear music on the other side of the door. I open the door and I see this large studio with fabric everywhere and people running around like they were trying to rush getting things done. "Mike! Chazzy!" I hear my name and I see Angie walking up to us, she was wear a 50's skirt and a long sleeve black top. "You look every nice today Angie." I tell her and I can see blush appear on her face "Thank you Mike you two look every comfortable hahaha."
