So...I'm not sure if a lot of you guys are aware about what's going on in the Atlantic, but there is a massive hurricane heading towards the whole east coast of Florida; in which I live in. This is a huge hurricane that is currently going over Puerto Rico and is expected to hit Florida around Saturday afternoon or evening. My family and I are currently getting our apartment ready by putting stuff in the bathrooms and closets. We are staying mainly because the roads are already packed with cars traveling north from Miami and the Keys, as well as limited gas makes it harder to get out of Florida without running out of gas. It is expected that Hurricane Irma is to be a category 4 when it reaches Florida and all of Florida is extremely prepared and some even fled. My mom, brother, my cat, and I are going to my aunt and uncle's house since they have better preparations than us as far as shutters since my apartment won't allow us to put shutters over the windows.
I am not telling you all this to scare you, I am telling you to let you know what is going on and that I will definitely be out of commission for a few days--possibly a lot considering if the power goes out--and this hurricane is no joke. I pray that anyone within the path of Irma are safe and well prepared, or at least safe out of harms way.
