Ace's car sped down the road, twisting and turning, heading toward the theatre. Okay I admit, though the guy was super hot, conversation was unknown to him. The ride was dead silent. Ace cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

"So, um what movie do you want to see?"

I turned toward him and shrugged.

"Oh c'mon August you gotta give me more than that!" He gave me a beautiful half smile.

This made me laugh and say,"Hmmmm," I proped my chin on my closed fist and rested my elbow on my knee, sacrcastically pretended to think, "Something with explosions."

He looked at me strange, "You wanna see a dick flick!?"

"Phfft, if you wanna see a chick flick, fine by me!" I raised my arms, teasing him.

Ace chuckled, "No thank you."

He pulled into a parking spot at the theatre, and came around over to my side of the vechile. He opened my door, and reached for my hand.

"We'll see whatever you want." He gave me his now famous half smile and I gave him my hand.

Ace and I had decided on the movie, This Means War, about a man who leaves his lover to go off to war. Out of love, the man's lover follows him to Japan where she finds him cheating on her. The whole movie was about the lover kicking her man's ass with tanks and helicopters, and lots of explosions. The whole movie was probably the stupidest thing I've ever seen, but I was hardly focusing on the movie with Ace's hot breath tingling the back of my neck. Over the course of movie Ace had shifted from keeping his hands to himself to practically wrapping me in a bear hug.

Ace's arm was slung around my shoulders and his leg lightly brushed mine ever so often. My heart raced every time he moved closer. Not to mention that it skipped a beat when I finally realized he could probably hear it!

Every once in while I would sneak a glance at his face. Ace's face was like an impossible puzzle. I would fit two pieces together but then couldn't figure out the rest of the puzzle. What I could make of his expression was that he was happy. And confused. And hestitant. I didn't know what to make of him.

After the movie and an awesome dinner, the car ride was again in absolute silence. Not an awkward silence, but a content one. There was no heavy cloud-like essenace hanging above us, but rather "clear skies" if you're in to cheesy analogies.

We stopped in front of the tribe house. A light was still streaming from one window and I knew exactly who's.

Ace turned toward me, "I'll walk you up."

When we got to the double doors I could only muster looking at my shoes. Slowly, I lifted my head to see his gleaming green eyes staring at me, my heart jump started.

I hestitated but finally said, "I-I had a great time tonight Ace, thanks for everything."

He gave me his signature smile and was about to say something. I wasn't listening because I was too entranced from his eyes. In the moment when Ace smiled at me a feeling of want for him washed over my body. I stared at him intently as both my conscience and lust bantered back and fourth on whether to kiss him or not. What was I thinking! I couldn't kiss him!

"It's only the first date!" the voice of reason exclaimed.

"Yeah, but more dates are bound to come, so why wait?" Lust replied.

In the end I sided with Lust and acted on impluse. Quickly I leaned in, smashing my lips to his, interupting what he was saying. I pulled away an instant later, shocked by what I had just done. Heart flying, I looked at Ace. Now his puzzle-like visage was easy to put together. PURE CONFUSION. It was like one of those really lame puzzles that had about only 10 parts. I went into a panic. Did I do it right? Was it to fast? Too soon? Too gross? What? I have had kisses before but not with guys who made me feel this way.
