Just grab her fucking hand already

Everyone kept telling my ponyboy had a crush on me but I didn't believe them. Ponyboy was my best friend so it just came off that way. Me him and Sodapop were walking to the DX. Ponyboy was in between us. As we were walking I noticed that ponyboys hand kept hitting mine. 'Oh no' I though to myself.

"Just do it" Sodapop whispered

I looked over at him with a confused look. He just flashed me a smile. Ponyboys hand hit mine again. Ponyboy looked over to Sodapop.

"Just grab it!" Sodapop whispered

Ponyboy grazed my hand again.

"That's it!" Sodapop yelled. He grabbed mine and Ponyboys hand pushed them together

"There!" He said

I looked at Ponyboy and he was red. He quickly let go of my hand and looked over at soda. We finally got to the DX and I pulled ponyboy away from everyone else

"What?" He asked

"Like you don't know" I said sarcastically

"Maybe I don't"

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"Ponyboy. How come you kept hitting my hand. How come Sodapop pushed our hands together"

"I don't know"

"Ponyboy"

"He's got the hots for ya!" I heard Sodapop scream across the parking lot

Ponyboy whipped his head around and his eyes got wide as he looked back at me.

"Pony?"

"Yes"

"Is that true?" I asked with a smile

He didn't say anything he just put his hands in his pockets

"Ponyboy"

"Yeah, it's true" he said looking down

"Pony why didn't you tell me?" I asked

"I was scared. This had never happened before and I didn't want to ruin our friend ship"

"well I think it's too late for that"

"What do you mean?" He asked

"I don't think we are friends anymore"

"(y/n) no. We we we can still work this ou-" I cut him off by grabbing his hands

"I think we can be more" I said with a smile

"Really?" He asked

"Yeah" I said. He leaned over and kissed my cheek.

"Thanks (y/n)" he said

"Also next time you try to hold a girls hand, do it before your brother make you"

"Well we shouldn't have to worry about that should we" he said

"why shouldn't we?" I asked

"There's only one girl whos hand I want to hold"

"Oh yeah? Who's that?" I asked jokingly

He grabbed my hand and rubbed his thumb on it "yours"
