Chapter Thirty Three

Optimus watched the buildings fly by as he thought. He wasn't exactly sure where they were going, but knew the other two weren't lost. He winced and rubbed his head as it hurt a little. He looked around then frowned deeply.

"Where are you taking me?" He asked as he stared at them.

"We're taking you home Optimus." Andi said as she smiled brightly. He stared at her blankly for a few minutes then smiled a little.

"Home..." he whispered and stared back at the passing buildings. Steve glanced at him through the rear view mirror and looked at her.

"Maybe we should take him shopping." He said seriously.

"What? Why?" She asked as she furrowed her brow.

"Andi... he's wearing a straight jacket and has no shoes." He pointed out. She looked back at him and facepalmed.

"Right... but we can't take him to the store. We'll take him to our house and one of us will go shopping." She said seriously then glanced at her phone. She noticed Bulkhead had tried to call her multiple times. She blushed deeply which didn't go unnoticed by her brother.

"Ooooooh." He teased and grinned mischievously.

"Shut up Steve." She muttered as she turned even redder and elbowed him gently.

"Where are you taking me?" Optimus asked again as he narrowed his eyes. The two stopped teasing each other and looked back at him.

"Oh no... I was afraid of this..." Andi whispered quietly. She sighed shakily and looked at her brother then at the man.

"We're taking you home Optimus." She said gently and smiled slightly. He looked at her and frowned deeply.

"Why am I not there now?" He asked suspiciously. Steve tensed a little as he bit his lip. He didn't want the man to attack them.

"You were at the mental hospital being held prisoner there. We saved you and are trying to get you home." She said gently and slowly so as not to overwhelm him.

"Who kept me there?" He growled lowly as he clenched his fists tightly.

"Starscream." She said cautiously and he seemed to get angrier.

"Where is he?" He asked and looked around a little.

"Don't worry about that right now." She said seriously and his expression became blank again. He fell silent and she sighed forcefully as she stared at the ceiling.

"What's going on?" Steve asked with confusion. She shook her head as tears filled her eyes.

"The drugs have screwed up his brain... and I did this..." she whispered quietly as tears fell down her face. The rest of the ride was silent as they made their way to the house.

Once there, they led the man into the house and spoke with him for a few minutes. He was in his right mind now and wanted to see his children. Steve helped him find some clothes that fit and he actually liked. Andi was worried about him seeing his children and paced back and forth as she waited for the other two. She took out her phone and tried to call Bulkhead. He picked up after she called again.

"Andi? Are you alright?" He asked quickly and she blushed deeply again.

"Ya I'm fine. I need you to get your family together but not at the hospital. It's too public..." she muttered realizing if he was seen there could be a problem.
