A little later they got Bumblebee inside and laid him on his bed. Arcee sat by him as she kept an eye on him. Bulkhead called the doctor while Smokescreen sat on the couch and stared at his hands blankly. None of them knew what to do.
Bulkhead thanked the doctor then hung up and sat by his brother. The two were quiet for a few minutes as they thought. The younger brother buried his face in his hands and sighed forcefully.
"He'll have to stay home until we can figure this out..." Smokescreen muttered and gripped his hair. Bulkhead nodded slowly and rubbed his face tiredly. The room was silent again for a while.
"The doctor said he needs to take more medicine... but I don't think that's the answer." He mumbled furrowing his brow.
"I wish Ratchet was here... give us his medical opinion." Smokescreen muttered and stared at the floor. It was quiet again for a while before either spoke.
"I wish dad was here...." Bulkhead whispered quietly as he closed his eyes. "He always knew what to do..." he mumbled.
"Well... he's not..." Smokescreen muttered as he choked back a sob and fought back tears. "But.... but you're doing just fine..." he mumbled and his brother stared at him for a moment. He hesitated then gently rubbed his back.
"Smokey...." he trailed off unsure what to say and hugged him tightly. He didn't know what to do.
A little later Bumblebee slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling blankly. He wondered how much of it had been a hallucination. He looked at Arcee who was reading a book by him. He watched her intently and saw Bulkhead standing by the window. Smokescreen sat by his other side and seemed to be asleep. Bumblebee smiled weakly, grateful for his family. His smile faded as he fought back tears of anger.
"You... don't have to be here..." he rasped quietly and looked at them. They stared at him blankly for a moment then looked at each other.
"We're here because we want to be." Bulkhead said seriously and walked over to him. Bumblebee squeezed his eyes shut as a tear fell down his face.
"I don't know... what's real anymore." He whispered quietly. "I'm not crazy..." he said as he choked back a sob. Arcee gripped his hand and bit her lip.
"We know you aren't Bee." She whispered and tried to smile. "We're going to help you get through this." She said seriously. Smokescreen smiled sadly as he rubbed his brothers head.
"Please don't leave me.... I'm so scared." Bumblebee rasped as tears fell down his face. Bulkhead gripped his other hand as he sat by him.
"We aren't going to leave you little brother. I promise." He said seriously and smiled a little to reassure him. The younger brother nodded as he squeezed his eyes shut. He wanted this nightmare to end.
The next day Bumblebee wandered around aimlessly as he walked down the street. He sighed forcefully and shoved his hands in his pockets. He wasn't sure where he was going but figured it was somewhere important. He had taken his medication and wondered if he should talk to his doctor. He stopped suddenly and furrowed his brow.
He had just spoken with him. They had talked about what happened and he gave him more medicine to take. He shook his head and kept going. He must be headed home then. He hung his head and sighed forcefully as he kept going. He didn't want to draw attention to himself.
"Beautiful day for a walk, isn't it?" He looked up and saw Megatron walking by him. He groaned and rubbed his face tiredly as he growled.
"Leave me alone dang it." He muttered and glared at him. "You're not real." He growled.
"I simply came to warn you about something." He said and smirked darkly as they stopped.
"No." He snapped angrily and furrowed his brow. "And where am I really?" He asked as he scanned the area.
"I'm not real, remember? This is your hallucination, you tell me." He responded and chuckled darkly. He was enjoying this a little too much.
"Okay... fine whatever." Bumblebee mumbled tiredly. "Just say what you want and leave me alone." He said.
"So impatient." He sneered and touched the lamppost. "Amazing what our minds can do." He muttered.
"Why do I keep seeing you anyway?" The young man grumbled as he glared. Megatron laughed darkly and shook his head as he looked at him.
"You will see the people you killed." He said as he smiled wickedly. "The people that died because of your stupidity." He sneered. Bumblebee shook his head and gripped his hair.
"No... no no no..." he mumbled as the mafia leader laughed darkly. "Leave me alone..." he mumbled and squeezed his eyes shut.
"You know exactly what's going to happen. You'll continue to to see things until your siblings give up on you." He sneered and walked around him.
"No. Leave me alone." He said through gritted teeth and shook his head.
"They'll probably abandon you somewhere so they won't have to deal with you anymore. Their crazy little brother." He taunted as he smirked darkly.
"Shut up!" He snapped angrily and glared at him. He gripped his head and fell to his knees as he tried to ignore him.
"Poor crazy little Bumblebee." He sneered as he watched him. "They just pity you."
"Leave me alone!" He screamed angrily as tears fell down his face. "Get out of my head!" He shouted and everything fell silent. He panted heavily as he kept his eyes closed and tried to focus.
"Bumblebee." He gasped quietly and his eyes widened in surprise. He slowly looked up and stared at the man sitting next to him. The man smiled kindly and gently set a hand on his back.
"Dad?" Bumblebee breathed as a few tears fell down his face.
