Chapter Forty One

Silence, it contradicted the chaos and anger outside. It was both disturbing and peaceful at the same time. A lone man was walking across the lobby of city hall. His mission was to locate the mayor and end his life. What confused him the most, was where the man was actually located.

"Where are you mayor Luskey?" Steeljaw hissed quietly as he narrowed his eyes. He heard someone approach and he stopped suddenly. He saw a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He had a blank expression as he walked towards him.

"Bumblebee." He growled lowly and clenched his fists tightly. "What are you doing here?" He asked. The man didn't respond and stopped a few feet away. The two stared at each other intently as they waited for the other to move.

"You aren't going to hurt the mayor. You'll have to go through me first." He said and got ready for a fight. They suddenly heard the door open and saw two men run inside. This threw them off and they stared in surprise.

"Staaarscream! I just wanna talk!" Blitzwing yelled as he tackled him to the ground. The man yelped in surprise but quickly got away. He stared blankly at the other two as the crazed man stood up.

"Ooooh a Mexican stand off." Blitzwing grinned. "The good," He pointed at Bumblebee. "The bad," He said and pointed to his brother. "And the ugly." He smirked as he pointed to Starscream.

"Hey! I'm not ugly." The man protested and glared at him. Blitzwing snickered and started making noises. Imitating the theme song for 'The good, the bad and the ugly.' Steeljaw growled lowly and looked at him. His brother was so annoying and frustrating at the same time.

"Get out of here Blitzwing." He growled angrily. His brother stopped suddenly and stared at him. He didn't respond for a few minutes as he tried to figure out if his brother was serious. They were never hostile towards each other. Why now? Was it the greed for power? Did Shockwave get to him? The younger brother was conflicted on how to react.

"I said 'get out of here', nobody wants you around." Steeljaw said as he narrowed his eyes. "You mess everything up and you're not good at anything you try to accomplish." He growled. Blitzwing was hurt that his brother would say that to him. Deep down he knew he was right. His expression became unreadable then blank. He stared at him as if trying to see something. He then nodded once and bowed a little.

"My apologies brother." He said coldly and with venom. "I won't disturb you again." He said seriously and his expression became dangerous. He then turned around and walked out. The other two looked at Steeljaw and blinked in surprise. He just let the crazed man take off and made him mad. There was no telling what he would do now.

Steeljaw didn't give them much time to think as he lunged forward and attacked Bumblebee. The young officer jumped back and barely missed a blow to the head. Starscream watched as he dodged every punch then looked around. He then snuck off down the hall to the mayors office. He ignored the other two as they fought and pulled out a gun. He would end the mayor and win everything.

He smirked triumphantly as he made his way to the office. He quietly snuck into the dark room and saw a figure sitting in the chair. He had the high back chair facing the door so he wouldn't see him coming. Starscream smiled wickedly as he raised the gun and pressed it against the figures head.

"Any last words mayor Luskey?" He sneered wanting the man to beg for mercy.

"Why did you kill him?" The man asked and didn't seemed fazed by the threat. Starscream blinked in surprise then furrowed his brow. Wasn't the mayor cowardly?

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked and pressed the gun into his head more. Trying to make a point.

The chair slowly turned and the man stared at him blankly. His fingers were laced and his elbows on the arm rests. Starscreams eyes widened in surprise and he paled as he stumbled back.
