The Funeral
Part One*Reginas P.O.V*
Her heart pounded. Sweat was dripping slowly from her forehead. She tossed and she turned in her sleep. She had just killed her husband and she was now having nightmares.... nightmares of her killing people, slaughtering families. She gripped the sheets as she cried out. She starts yelling out for Robin. She soon felt rough cold hands on her shoulders shaking her body. She heard a vague voice saying her name. The person's voice started to break through and the voice became louder. She opened her eyes and she gasped and screamed as she for a moment thought that it was Leopold who was shaking her. But she soon realized, after pushing him away, that it was Robin.
"Regina.... it's okay.... I'm here.... it's okay..."
He said moving next to her and pulling her gently into his arms softly. She cried in his arms as his voice soothed her and she was shaking as she felt his large, muscular, and protective arms wrapped around her. She soon stopped crying as she felt him scoot underneath the blanket next to her and he laid down with her.
"Try to get to sleep ... I'll stay right here ... I promise... I wont let anything happen to you...."
He whispered and caressed her upper arm. She sighed and nodded slowly and laid her head gently on his chest and exhaled deeply, closing her eyes and slowly fell asleep again. She could occasionally feel his hand running through her long brunette hair that reached her hips. She laid there peacefully feeling safe and warm in his arms.
- The Next Morning -
Reginas eyes slowly flutter open and she rubs her eyes. She looked up slowly as she saw Robin, still laying there, fast asleep. She smiled gently at him and she slowly leaned up to his lips and gently pressed her plump lips against his. She felt his grip around her get tighter as he pulled her closer with a smirk on his face. After a few moments she looks at him and pulls back and runs her fingers through his hair. She smiles as she looks in his eyes. She started having dark thoughts running through her head and she almost immediately frowned and she looked down.
"The funeral is today...."
She whispered not knowing if she was going to be able to look at little Snow again. She felt his hand underneath her chin as Robin pulled her face up to look him in the eyes. She teared up and he kissed her tears as they left her eyes. She tried to smile.
"It wasn't your fault.... you know that right?...."
He said as he caressed her cheeks and looked into her beautiful chocolate eyes. She shook her head.
"It is my fault... I should have controlled myself..."
She whispered gently and she felt her heart grow heavy with despair as she thought about how she killed a man who was loved by the kingdom and his daughter who was only ten years old. Regina looked at him.
"Just promise me that no matter what happens.... you won't leave me...."
She says and he looks at her and nods.
"Of course.... I wouldn't dream of it...."
He said gently and closed his eyes and kissed her softly. She smiled gently and in the back of her mind she could just feel the darkness lingering. Taunting her with evil and demented thoughts about murdering and killing people. Regina sighed and slowly got out of bed. She could feel his eyes watching her. She didn't want to tell him what she was thinking. She didn't want to worry him.
"Well... I must get ready so... you should probably get into that guard uniform in which you stole..."
She said as she approached her wardrobe and opened it as it creeks. She searched slowly through her dresses. She frowned when she saw a black funeral gown in which she once wore to her first loves funeral, Daniel. Who was murdered by her mother. She started thinking about the night he died.
They were going to run away to get married, king Leopold had just proposed. Her mother had accepted but Regina didn't want to marry him... She loved Daniel. Snow found Regina and Daniel kissing one night. As Snow was going to do some night time riding, she approached the stables and she saw Regina kissing Daniel. She went to go tell her father when Regina ran after her, grabbing her and begged her not to tell her mother, or anyone at all. Regina knew what her mother would have done if she found out. But Snow didn't listen. She went to Regina's mother a day later and told her about Daniel and how Regina loved him. Which led to the night that Regina decided to run away. Regina and Daniel had only their clothes. They were starting to run away to elope when they saw Regina's mother. Regina tried to convince her mother to let them go, but her mother didn't listen. She ripped out Daniels heart with magic and crushed his heart, killing him, right in front of Regina.
Regina frowned as she looked at the dress and a tear rolled down her cheek. But she immediately wiped it away and cleared her throat. She took the dress out of the wardrobe and she walked to him as he stood next to the bed. She sat the dress down gently on the bed and she looked at Robin. She smiled gently and turned around, facing her back to him and she moved her hair gently over one of her shoulders and she looked at him from over her shoulder and she saw him biting his lip as his eyes wandered down her body.
"Can you untie my corset?..."
She asked softly and a little seductively. He nodded as his fingers slowly tugged at the ties and loosened her corset. She felt the pressure surrounding her ribs and her stomach loosen. She also soon felt his hands gently move onto her hips and grip them slightly as she felt the space in between them closing.
Robin soon started kissing her bare neck gently. She closes her eyes and sighed softly. She felt his hands wrap around her stomach from behind, she placed her hands on his hands as he pulled her closer and turned her head so he could kiss her lips passionately. He turned her body around so her chest was pressed against his as he held her lower back, kissing her deeply. She wrapped her arms around his neck gently. It has been so long since she has felt the love of a man. His lips kissed hers gently, filled with such passion. Her heart started pounding as he moved her onto the bed and gently laid her down and pulled back gently.
"You should get ready for the funeral, your majesty..."
He says as she looks into his eyes and she breathes heavily and nods slowly.
"You're right...."
She says frowning. He sighed and slowly got off of her and held his hand out to her. She gently placed her hand in his and she looked him in the eyes, he pecks her lips once more lovingly. She turns around as he looks at her. She starts to take off her dress slowly. Robin being the gentleman he is, he turns around so he wouldn't stare at her body which was so tempting to devour. He bites his lip and closed his eyes trying to calm himself as he feels his pants growing tighter. Regina let's her dress fall to her feet and she puts on her other elegant and black, yet beautiful funeral dress. She clears her throat and he turns back around to see her. She looks at him with a raised eyebrow and he smirked and walked to her, he tightened the strings to her corset and once he was finished she looked at him and turned her body towards him and held his hands.
"Let's go... you don't want to be late to your late husband's funeral .. "
Robin said gently and put on his armor and looked at her. He started walking with her to the doors. He kissed her cheek and let go of her hand, opening the door for her and he followed her out and down the halls to the courtyard to where the funeral was being held.
