Chapter Thirteen

Shallow Water

The sounds of bones breaking, the fire in her eyes, villages, burning to the ground. Her evil laugh echoed through the forest as innocent people scream in fear and try to run away from the Queen's guards. Regina looks around and sees a man running and she engulfs her self in a purple cloud of smoke and appears in front of the frightened man. She placed her hand on his throat and squeezed as the man gasped for air. Regina glared in the mans eyes and playfully smiled and she felt the crackle of his bones as she snapped his neck. His corpse collapsing to the ground as she looked around at took a deep breath.

Regina quickly sat up and was breathing heavily. She pants as she placed her hand on her chest and there was a thin sheet of sweat covering her forehead. She looks over and sees Robin, asleep in a chair. She loved how much of a gentleman he was. She felt the anger flow through her veins and she slowly and quietly got out of bed and put on her winter cloak over her night gown. She put on her shoes and her gloves to help her hands stay warm from the cold air. She slowly walked out of her chambers, leaving robin in there to sleep. Regina walked out of the castle and she walked into the forest. She needed air... She needed to think. She was constantly thinking about killing people and making them pay for her suffering. Regina wanted so badly to kill Snow White in the way she had killed the man in her dream because Daniel, the love of her life was murdered because of her. As she walked she ran her fingers through her hair and took a deep breath.

"Come on regina... you can't kill people, let alone a young child... that's not who you are..."

She says to herself and she continued walking. She rubbed her arms as she was cold and she walked to a nearby lake and she sat next to the water in which the morning sun reflected off of it. Regina looked at this sight and it soothed her for a short time. She looked down at her hands and she was curious as to what exactly she could do with her magic. She closed her eyes and she thought about Snow White and the anger she had for her and she felt she power rush to her hands and she saw a flash of light and when she opened her eyes, she saw her hands and the magic emerging from them.

Soon, Regina had watched the water for almost an hour and then she stood up and decided to go back to the castle when she felt two arms wrap around her and she gasped and she heard a familiar voice.

"Would you like to go for a swim?..."

Robin's voice came from behind her. His voice caused all of her dark thoughts to leave her head and she closed her eyes and smiled, nodding slowly. He moved her hair to the side gently and he kissed her neck. She sighed with pleasure as she feels his warm lips against her cold skin.

"It is a little cold though..."

Regina said softly as he started slowly taking off her jacket and kissed her shoulders. She heard the water moving and the sound of him kissing her skin and she bit her lip. He let her jacket drop and she moved forward and turned to look for him and he took off his shirt and smirked at her as he took off his pants.

"Maybe there is something we could do to warm the water up a bit...."

He said seductively and grabbed her hips and pulled her closer. She smirked and he pressed his lips against hers and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kiss him. His hands traveled down to the bottom of her gown and pulls it up and off of her from over her head. Her naked and soft skin was revealed and he picked her up from her thighs and held her as she wrapped her legs around his waist, proceeding to kiss him as he slowly walks into the water. The water rising and covering their naked bodies as he kissed her and they soon were surrounded completely by water up to their shoulders. He looked at her in the eyes and she looked back into his and she smiled.
