Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Part 2

Natsu's POV

Ed comes to show me where I can put my stuff down, and he has a smile on his face. It was the kind of smile that showed he'd been told a bad joke, or the kind of smile if his brother told him something that was funny. I don't know. But boy do I love seeing that kind of a smile on his face, I think it really suits him and his silliness. Dear God do I love this man...

"You can put your stuff on the couch for now Natsu." Ed tells me. I nod and proceed to put my stuff on the couch. I turn around to Ed and take a deep breath, which I needed because my heart is pounding. "You okay?" "Yeah." Another deep breath. "Just... A little nervous... We're going so fast through this relationship... It can't just be me, right? And my heart is pounding a mile a minute..." "Oh babe..." He takes small steps to get in front of me, and he hugs me in an attempt to calm me down and make me feel better. He gives me the same treatment that he gave me this morning, and it makes me calm.

"Hey, if it makes you feel better, I'm nervous too. My heart is pounding... You're my first boyfriend, and you're the first person to... Really get to know me and love me..." He hugs me some more, and gives my head a couple kisses. After I set my stuff down, the two of us head to the dining room for chicken and rice.

"Wow! Al! This smells amazing!" I compliment to him. "Thanks Natsu. I've been trying to perfect the glaze for the chicken, and I think I've got it just right." I take a bite of the chicken, and I'm stunned by the amazing taste.

The glaze on the chicken gives it a honey flavor, some heat from what tastes like... Chili powder and hot pepper sauce? There is also a hint of onion and garlic. Having all of these flavors melt in my mouth, paired with the perfect sear at once, it's like I'm in heaven. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, the whole meal is on an unreal level of amazingness.

I inhale the whole meal in a matter of minutes, but I am still able to enjoy the taste of the rice and chicken. I look up from my plate, and see that I am, embarrassingly, the only one done eating when they are only halfway done. I instantly feel heat rush to my face, as I feel like I ate like a pig... I'm filled with this sense of not knowing what to do, as well as a feeling of awkwardness. I look over at Ed and try to make eye contact, so that I could try to signal to him that I'm feeling awkward and embarrassed. Eventually, he looks over at me and I have a window to make my signal. I look down at my empty plate, look back at him, then his half empty plate, and back at him. Hopefully he was able to understand the signal that I was trying to send, and maybe he can find a way to help me through this embarrasing moment.

He smirks at me, looks at my plate, then back at me; it was as if he was laughing at me, but in a nice way. While this whole exchange is going on, it seems that Al is paying no attention to us and is focused on eating his home made meal. He finishes up his meal in a quicker fashion, while also being discrete about it. "Hey Natsu, since you're done I can show you where my room is so you can put your stuff in there." "Shouldn't we wait for Al to finish eating?" There's a short pause that's broken by Al saying, "oh I don't mind, you two go on ahead." He smiles at us and I interpret that as an okay to leave him, so I get my things from the couch and I start to follow Ed to his room.

We go down the hall to the left of the kitchen, and through the last door on the right. I get into his room, and it's like he has an entire anime convention in there. There's posters for RWBY, Attack On Titan, and Mirai Nikki on his navy blue walls. I also see a large collection of various manga, and there's so many I can't see all of the titles that are on a light blue bookshelf. There's another bookshelf that he has that has what looks like thirty to forty Funko Pop figures, but to my surprise not all of the figures are anime related. There's a few Harry Potter characters I vaguely recognize, next to the Crystal Gems from Steven Universe. All around his room are different shades of blue, teal, and turquoise, and it's so pretty and beautiful.

"Woah... It's so..." "Geeky?" "No. Well, yes but, it's really nice. There's so many manga, I think I'd stay in this room for hours. This is... Amazing Ed." "I'm glad you like it. Al says that it's messy, but it looks like this because I know where everything is. I wanted to make this room my own, like... For example, I really love the color blue, so I drove to Home Depot to get some paint and I painted my room while Al was out grocery shopping. I got most of my manga from Barnes and Noble, the posters from conventions and Wal-Mart, and I got my Funko Pop figures from Hot Topic." I nod in accoknowledgement, as I am still in awe with his amazing room.

"You can put your stuff right by the manga if you'd like. And maybe tonight, if Al doesn't mind, we can watch something together? There's this movie called The Fault In Our Stars that I've been meaning to watch, but I just haven't gotten the time to. We could watch that if you'd like. Or we could watch something else if you'd like. Do you have a preference Natsu?" Ed tells me, and after I put down my things, I think about what I want to do.

I've personally watched Fault In Our Stars before, so I'm not sure if I want to watch it with him... Considering... What... Intimate... Things happen, but I mean what could go wrong there? It can't be that bad right? 

"We can watch The Fault In Our Stars. It's been a while since I've watched it, so why not watch it again?"

That chapter had exactly 1111 words. What even. I've been thinking about how I had to put this chapter into two parts, and I'm wondering how you would feel about two thousand word chapters? I'd have to start working on it earlier and a bit more than I have with the others, but I just want to hear from you guys if you'd like to see that. Next chapter may be a bit longer because of the movie that Ed and Natsu are going to watch, so maybe that can be a sort of... Trial run of my proposal. Please try to let me know what you think before Monday or Tuesday, as I would need lots of time to write the chapter.
