I sit. I watch.
I watch how people become lovers.
I watch how they become attached.
I watch how they secure themselves to each other.
And then I watch how the tie gets severed.
I watch.
I watch girls cry. I watch boys brush it off.
I watch as couples walk away from each other.
I watch how that effects their hearts.
I watch.
I see how their hearts become cold.
I see how they build walls up.
I see how they become callous.
I see how they change.
I watch.
I see how girls transform for the eyes of their other half.
I see how the boys don't notice.
I see that the girls' friends do.
I see how they fight.
I see how they walk away from each other.
I see how she runs into "his" arms.
I see how he walks away from her.
I see how she is left alone.
I watch.
I sit. I look. I notice.
I can see all this, but they, can not.
