"Ugh... Why is he not picking up his calls again... " you groaned.
Your boyfriend, Kai, had been ignoring you for the past two weeks and you didn't know why. It was as if the both of you weren't dating anymore.
Honestly speaking, you yourself was also not sure whether the both of you still have an ongoing relationship with one another.
You decided to take your mind off him and got ready to go out.
When you felt sad, you always went to park, with Kai tagging along, but this time, you were going alone.
You sighed at the thought before shrugging it off, and headed out the door with your handphone and wallet.

"Oppa... When are you going to break up with that bitvhy slvt of yours? "
You unintentionally overheard a high-pitched voice not far from you.
"Be patient, Krystal... " the guy, who had his back facing you, assured.
'Wait... That voice... '
"K-kai?! " you choked out.
He turned around and stared at you, at first shocked and anxious, but it was soon replaced with a cold stare.
"Here's your chance, Oppa, " Krystal smirked.
"Oppa..? Why is she calling you t-that? "
"Let's break up, (y/n). You're too boring sometimes, unlike Krystal here. She can give me pleasure, but you cannot. So yeah, bye, we're over, " Kai rolled his eyes before walking away with his arm draped around his girlfriend's waist.
"W-what... " your eyes brimmed with tears.
You'll have to move on. You never thought that Kai could be this much of a jerk.
You badly missed the old Kai. The old Kai who would give you daily pecks on the lips and warm hugs.
The Kai who would cuddle with you every weekend night while watching your favourite K-drama episodes.
The Kai you used to love so much was gone.
And you hated it, but you knew you could do nothing about it.

And Kai, on the other hand, regretted his decision.
Sure, Krystal could give pleasure, but she was too materialistic and liked to splurge on useless things that she would end up not using. She would ignore him whenever he was stressed or feeling down.
He knew that Krystal was just using him but he couldn't bear to break up with her.
Maybe because he loved her?
But he was confused since he missed and yearned for you at the same time.
You would always cheer him up and go through his ups and his downs together as a couple, never asking for much.
He missed you so, so much.
But he knew that the mistake he made one month ago was unforgivable.
And you were so close to completely getting over himself already.
Kai regretted his mistake and impulse, but it was too late.
