Lay's POV
I was at the airport, staring at all the planes landing and taking off in sync.
I'm going to miss Korea so much, especially her.
As if on cue, my phone vibrated from inside my jeans pocket as I fished it out, clicking on the notification.
(y/n): yah yah yah wHERE ARE YOU
(y/n): reply me bruh
(y/n): :(
(y/n): don't leave me aloneee

I decided to let her find out herself. After all, I couldn't bear to break the news to her myself.
I just hopes she finds the letter.
My parents only broke the news to me yesterday, it was so sudden. I didn't get my chance to properly say goodbye to (y/n) too.
I'm not even sure whether I'll be coming back to Korea, but I'll try my best to do so. I want to see (y/n) again, if we do cross paths hopefully in the future.
« 4 years later
I'm back.
---
I found myself standing in front of (y/n)'s house.
I've just landed in Korea this morning and I'm really excited to meet her.
I pressed the doorbell, rubbing my hands together as I licked my lips.
I can finally see her after years of missing her!
Although it took my parents lots of convincing for them to agree to me returning to Seoul.
The door opened as my head shot up, expecting to see (y/n) there but there stood an unfamiliar male as my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Uhm, hello, how may I help you? " the male spoke up.
"I-is (y/n) home? "
"Oh, please wait a while, " he went back inside the house and I could faintly hear him shout for (y/n) to come down.
Except for that...
He called her "Babe".
I guess (y/n) never loved me, huh. I can't believe I gave myself so much false hope over the past few years.
Devastated, I left the house with a broken heart without waiting for (y/n) to step out.
Your POV
"Yah Suho there isn't anyone at the door, stop joking around. " I huffed as I turned around to face my best friend.
"Wait are you serious? There was a guy at the door. He has nice dimples lol. But luckily he left, what if he was trying to steal you away from me ~ " Suho pouted childishly as I flicked his forehead.
"It's all because of your actions that caused your girlfriend to detest me! " I puffed up my cheeks at the thought of his girlfriend, HaeSoo.
Her attitude was terrible but whatever, Suho can date whoever he wants.
« a few days later
"The hell are you talking about? What do you mean Lay is back in Korea? He didn't contact me at all! Wait, how come everyone knows but me? " my eyes widened at the news Suho just broke out to me.
"Huh, I thought you knew? "
"Uhm, no? " I was deeply hurt by the fact that he didn't even bother finding me again. Did his feelings fade away? I couldn't really blame him though. It's been about four years.
"...Wait a minute, I think the weird guy with nice dimples at the door a few days ago was Lay. " Suho scratched his non-itchy head.
"Why didn't you tell me! " I slapped his shoulder lightly as he had an exaggerated look of pain shown on his face.
"Lay is your friend, not mine! How was I supposed to know? And you only showed me his picture once, I can't possibly remember his face. "
What Suho said did make sense as I apologized.
I miss you so much, Lay.
